| Every day of your life that you work for E will be worse than the previous day (just like in Office Space). That's the best way to sum it up. I've got two days left and I've never been happier or more relaxed knowing that I won't have to go back next week. If you've got a university/college degree, you're above working at Enterprise. A lot of good people get sucked into this job, and nearly all of them regret taking the job. If you do go to the interview, ask your interviewer what they think about this site, and ask why there are soooooooooo many horror stories posted here. It's not just coinky-dink! Listen to somebody who wasted 3.5 years there. You'll be MUCH better off holding out for something better. |

| I worked 3 and 1/2 years and I did not regret taking the job and certainly made the most of it. met a lot of people, gained val exp and moved onto something better. I know am a pharma rep and love life. i can tell you this is it was the best decision of my life taking the job and the best decision leaving the job when i did. I was getting close to punching customers in the face, not literally but my threshold and patience began to dwindle quickly after being a manager for 2 years and dealing with all the bs from customers, accounts, area mgrs, and employees calling in sick, moaping around and constant complaining. i was so on edge and could not stand one more day. so one day i said i don't want to do this anymore, so i left and got a job i am very happy with making very good money, limited bs, less hours and a life to go with it. go hard and then get out. don't listen to people when they tell you to jump ship right away but do have a plan in place to leave or else you will get sucked in. you need to work and gain exp with documented sales results in order to get a real sales job and erac can do that. just plan on 2-3 years max. dont screw off and just collect a paycheck because you can do that anywhere with the same pay and much less hours. Treat it like an on the job education, force yourself to be in complicated situations where you figure out solutions, master sales, learn how to interview, make the most of it why your there and bounce in 2-3 if you can hang in that long. |
