actually i am neither a promoter or demoter of erac. however everyone who has worked there can be bitter but can agree there is a benefit to working there in the short term. that is a definite. does it suck? yes. is it mentally and physically grueling? yes. do they pay? no. do you wash cars? yes. do you drive most of the day? yes. is there a lot that can be learned outside of those functions to propel you to another career?yes. if you currently work there devise a plan or prepare yourself in 2-3 years that you will be working somewhere else. that is the only real dream. the dream is not making up the ladder where 100k is waiting in 5 years. now the ladder leads to a burning building going downward not upward. money is less, control is less and opportunity is less and good people are few and far between. be aware that college grads will slowly disappear from erac's feeding system and the company is devising there own plan to go public when the famous jack taylor passes.

You were probably "dissed" because of the lack of sales experience. |

Dont feel bad buddy. I just got off an 8 month stay with enterprise GP19. It was the worst 8 months of my life! Washing cars and kissing ass for 11 hours a day. I was one of the top salesmen there and they wanted more. When I finally started looking for another job, they found out. After all the bullshit I had to put up with there, now they were calling me unfaithfull and told me if I didnt quit they would make sure I couldnt get a job somewhere else..ever

I'll tell you exactly why you didn't get hired: No sales experience. When I applied online I said no sales experience (even though I'd worked in retail for a year, I thought they were asking about outside sales) and I got a politely worded "thanks but no thanks" e-mail. I wrote back and told them about my retail sales experience and they called me back for an interview. I believe there are just boxes they have to check before they can bring someone in, and "sales experience" is probably one of them. But as others have made clear before, you're better off not working there.

I had no sales experience at all and was hired by ERAC. I've said it before and I'll say it again...if you have a heartbeat and a college degree, you're hired. Unless you're an idiot.

Buddy you didnt get accepted because you actually have a DEGREE that counts. 90% of the nutjobs working at ERAC have no fuckin usable degrees..thats why I left cuz I was sick of seeing dumb ass idiots with music diplomas no 1 had a degree at my branch
