Hey I left the company after being a manager for a year. It is a great job and career if you want it to be. The money gets better as you get promoted. sometimes the job sucks and sometimes cool, like any job you do. If you think it may be good for you, give it your best shot and have fun with it. Hopefully you love it, just make sure you get out marketing, that will keep you sane. Let yourself decide if it is for you or not, don't listen to the one's on here who are negative.

I am a female and I went up the Green Ladder after 6 years of service at the slave factory. I put ERAC ahead of everything: my family and friends-you have to give them up. You can't have it both ways if you work for ERAC. Its the old saying: "I owe my soul to the company store."

Angela is being immature and completely unrealistic of what she thinks ERAC will give and bring to her. She will give and give, and they still want more. But children have to touch fire to realize it will burn and hurt. No matter what anyone posts on this website, just like a child she will have to learn, get hurt and be burned to realize what everyone says on this website is true.

ERAC is not a good job nor does it pay well until you are a BM or Area Manager. I have read posts that say when you move up you don't wash as many cars or deal a lot with the customers writing tickets. False. You will wash cars unless you're office is at Admin and you leave by 5pm. The hours are just as long when you go farther up the Green Ladder.

I was so bought into the "Pyramind Scheme" that I was a stress bucket. I was a 2-times a day Starbuck junkie to keep my energy up working 6 days a week. Disappointments are many. Having cars and M.T.'s are so few. The last six months before I left my father was sick. That completely changed me. My father supported my family by working six days a week having his own business. Seeing the lifestyle I had he did not want that for me. I left and found a DREAM CAREER. What makes me smile and shake my head is that the hours are less and pay is higher.

Anjela, this post is pretty straight forward and concise. Your first few months with ERAC you will be made to feel very special and fortunate and they will tell you that the hours get better as you get promoted but that is just an out right lie. Actually the hours get worse because as an MT your hours are restricted because they are trying to save on payroll. Its really not a bad job if you can buy into the whole "being fake all the time garbage". There are some really good BM's out there but very few good ARM's because to become an ARM you must have no dignity be overwhelmingly consumed with money and how much you can stick in your pocket. I realized real quick when in new hire training they asked us if we were motivated by money and if not that we probably would not amount to much with ERAC. But honestly, I worked there for 2 years and hated about half of it. I don't regret it because there are some valuable lessons to be learned and like many have said, it looks good on your resume. Use ERAC as a stepping stone for your career. I did and it turned out pretty well.

Just giving my two cents.

I hate those high fives! LAME!!! My old AM used to congratulate us on good work and stuff like that with enthusiasm. Then right after that, she'd put a serious face and get back to work. How fake is that!? Everyone from our area knows how fake she is! Especially two faced as well! She stern about "hook ups" and how ERAC is supposed to have ethics so she said she won't even hook up her own family.
