I think it is unfair to tell people..."easy life". IF (and I do mean IF) you really make 6 figs in this business...it ain't because you've been out playin' golf!! Don't make it sound like you didn't WORK YOUR ASS OFF and put up with ALOT of bullshit and sometimes REALLY hate your job. Don't make it sound like it's as easy as sellin' dope and just as profitable. Cause if you try to sell that on here...we all know what you're smokin' in tha break room!!!

I got offered a job to work at Enterprise. and up until I found jobvent.com and this sight, I was seriously considering it. I was actually referring people to it! They made it sound so great! But now that I've read this all, I've dug a little deeper. I decided I do not want to work behind a KFC and have three interviews next week. I graduate in May and hope I can get a job before then. I told Enterprise yes but have yet to sign anything. Regardless if I get one of these jobs or not, I will still tell Enterprise no and just risk being unemployed for awhile until i get a better job. But, I have a feeling I can find a better job in time

I kept erac on my resume after I left and within a month or two I found a better job that I really enjoy. I don't know about other people's experience on post-enterprise interviews, but one company saw my degree and during the interview flat out asked why I wasted 2 years in retail. Even after I tried to spin my time there as best I could on my resume. I am not sure what your degree is in, but if you are having a hard time finding a job, I would sooner try to find something related to your field, even if it is just a paid internship for a few months. The pay may not be great, but at least you will get much more valuable job-related skills than Enterprise. Good luck with your other interviews! |

thanks for your advice! I am a marketing major and have a 3.5 GPA. I am pretty confident that in the next two months I can find something else. It just scares me that everyone I know that worked for Enterprise after graduating last year, don't work there anymore! I asked them about it but they all said its okay. I think they didn't want to freak me out because at that time, I was excited about it. But after being unable to find ONE person that told me it was a great place to work, I decided its not worth it. What really upset me was that when I said yes, they told me pay was between 35,000-40,000. But, when they sent me the pay breakdown, no matter how I calculate it, it doesn't go above 30,000. So, they outright lied. I think that tells me all I need to know. Thank you again for your help! I am glad I found these sites and saved myself the misery.

if you have 3.5 gpa you should be looking at pharmaceutical sales with a 3.5 gpa. i had a 3.1 when i graduated worked for erac 3 years and was a manager 1 1/2 and recently left and i now work in the pharmaceutical industry as a sales rep. i had a interview with johnson and johnson and enterprise when i graduated. i felt j&j was to mature for me at the time and one of my friends worked at erac and said it was fun, pay was not great but if you get experience you will have an easier time getting in the pharma field. i did and it worked out. i liked erac and the people but it burnt me out and i am glad i left. if your ready to work a serious job then go into pharma right away. if you want a post college type atmosphere for a year then erac will work for you it is like a fraternity/sorority. you will have fun short term meet some people contacts and learn sales skills that will apply to any sales job. if you really have a 3.5 gpa then apply at eli lilly pharmaceuticals. they look for high gpa's and marketing majors. you should look there.
