Ok...i have read some of the lame excuses for pay around here...i work for ERAC in New York...where we make money....My AM showed me his W2 last year at a shade over $120,000 with a company car and 80 grand in an account for him, set-up by ERAC...lets move down the line...My BM, who has been with the company 3 1/2 years raked in a clean $60,000 last year with a company car...The line goes down....My recently PROMOTED Assit. Manager made just over $40,000 and should make closer to 60 grand in just 14 months...Now to me..a loley MT....i have been with the ERAC for 6 months....My W2 reads over $16,000...plus since we have performed i have made almost a grand in bonuses...not bad...how much do you make?

Based upon your calculations you make about $13.33/hour for a 50 hour week. I went low with the hours just guessing. ERAC has done away with the $1000.00 bonus for passing the MQI (hence the larger initial paygrade for MT's). Your MA salary will be about .50/hr reg time higher. That is nothing to write home about. The account for your ARM is interesting because it is a profit sharing account. You will get that as well. Now if we assume you live in or near NYC and factor in Cost of Living, you would make about 8.50/hour for your time. We must also assume you live at home or in the suburbs cause we know you cannot afford to live in an apartment in NYC for those wages unless it is upstairs from a crackhouse.

As far as my paygrade, it is far superior to yours. Base salary is 40,000 (what your AM earned in 12 months with commissions). Then with my commission check I should expect to earn anywhere between 80-120k based upon my sales performance. See when I sell something, I see the benefits of it, unlike you and CDW. I work about 10 hours less than you a week. I can afford my MORTGAGE. See a mortgage is something and ERACer does not get until they are at LEAST a BM. Then they live in a shack.

Now here is the real kicker. When I contribute to my 401k, my company will match 100% up to 6%. For you ERACers that is if I make $100.00 and donate $6.00, my company will match that $6.00 instantly. What does that mean you say? That means I make 100% return on my money instantly. I wonder why ERAC does not contribute to their employees 401k?

So, you can believe the hype that you will one day be making 120k a year. I would rather do it now, stay with all my hair on my head, stay in shape, have time for family and MAKE MORE MONEY!

At the end of the day it is not the rat the ran the hardest through the maze, it is the one that ran the smartest. Ask you Area Manager what their kid's favorite color is...I bet they have no idea.

Would you have got your current job right out of college? Did you have ERAC on your resume when you applied?

I know I could have gotten my current position without ERAC on my resume, but I guarentee my resume looks phenominal. There is no doubt though that ERAC assists people in getting better positions. You are absolutely right that employers TARGET ERAC employees for many reasons ranging from customer services skills to sales skills. Plus many ERAC employees hate their jobs and want to get better compensated for thier positions.

ERAC is kind of the minors for employment with REAL companies.
