Default interns

Interning there is not bad. The pay is fine, like $10 and hour which is not bad for an internship in retail. You'll work about 20 -30 hours a week depedning on your sachedule. They were pretty flexible with me with school. And it's easier to get out of a shift when you use finals as an excuse... In all seriousness, you will do all the grunt work that an MT does, but with less hours. It will give you a taste of what it's like without having to commit to a full time position. I stayed on with them because I didn't really have any other alternatives and I actually enjoyed myself...early on. That changed later of course.

3 of my friends started w/ ERAC 4years ago, and this past year we all made over 80K.If you are willing to work 60hours/week and go the extra mile for all of your customers then this is the perfect career for you. If you don't like working long hours and you don't like the public then don't work for ERAC, but remember the average retiring age of ERAC employees is 42.

What exactly do you mean by "retiring"? Surely you don't mean "Quitting work for good because I've saved up enough money to never have to work again"?

The impression I get is that most new employees quit within three years, or well before age 30.

I'd be curious to know what's the average length of service for employees...

Sorry buddy...your life must be pretty damn pitiful. Im in my early 20's and own two homes because of what I get paid at Enterprise. Not my fault you turn all your customers away and cant build relationships with your accounts. my branches fleet has doubled in the past two years and we average 100,000$ a month profit. Bull shit you know how much I make. You only WISH you had the talent to do the same. I get my paycheck every month...I know how much I make.

early 20s? so that puts you under 25..so that means that you had time to graduate college ( since they only hire with a minimum of college degree ) at approximate age of 21-22 ( if you were the bright star that is, but choosing a career at ecrap shows otherwise ) so you have been with the company for 2-3-4 maximum years and you claim to make over 100k/year? or sorry you said 80+/year... You are probably not more than a branch manager if that high, and also you must be getting screwed or screwing someones daughter or son big time!!! Or you may be part of the Taylor family?? Or maybe you are just simply living in a lie...but too embarassed to recognize and admit the fact that you are too brainwashed!!! My ass you are making that....and if you were, you won't take the time to come here ( on a web site that bashes the company that gives you sooo much money ) to waste your time...when you can go and spend your hard earned 80k/year on better things...

A ton of people in my old group made 100k or more a year (normally as an area manager or higher though). Regional rental managers made 250k+, regional VPs made 500k+, and the GM made well over a mil a year.

Your right...I am a branch manager. I am also only 26. I started at my branch two years ago where it had 220 cars. I have grown it to 400 cars and tripled the OP, and flip has been awesome.

I dont have to screw daughters of bosses or wives or be related to anyone else to make money. I just work really hard and enjoy what I do. Perhaps youd like a second chance. I could show you the way if you would like! And I merely stumbled upon this web site and found it absolutly hillarious. My gf and I are having a blast laughing at you! Obviously, I am not here to bash the company but maybe clear up some of the crap you guys are saying. If you work hard, you will make money. Bottom line....

And like I said...I own two homes. I find plenty of good things to spend my money on.

owning two homes doesn't mean spending money...if you owned those two trailors that would mean they were paid off....but since you are still spending money...that means that the bank owns them and not you!! maybe in 30 years.. and by the way..owning a home in todays world is not a huge accomplishment. I have OWNED mine since I was 22.. but I don't walk around and go to web sites talking about it..oh yeah and I also have a beach house in FL...but I didn't open a thread talking about it... Id love to see that trailor of yours...

And if you have that good quality life that your great salary would afford you, both you and your girlfriend wouldn't be sitting at your house reading this website as a form of entertainment...there are a lot of other things to be doing with those $$$$...that you supposedly make..
