After browsing through this site a little bit I have no doubt about the working conditions at ERAC on the rental side. But can anyone shed any light as to how the accounting side of the business is? Ultimately, I am looking for an entry level accounting job to do for a year so I can build up some experience and move on to something better. Would it be worth it to do this at ERAC, or should I look elsewhere?

Looking4Feedback, My advise, stay away! Working in the accounting department at E is not worth the space on your resume. Entry level accounting personnel are treated like crap, plus the pay sucks. If you really want to gain some accounting experience, my suggest is to flip open the phone book and start calling various employment agencies. X06er

In my 10 years with ERAC I only saw one person who started in Accounting get promoted to a position that would earn $75K+. The Accounting side is much like rental, but with the "accountant" twist. A few will make it to L3 and above (6 figures on up). Most Group Business Managers/Controllers do VERY well.
