Default I went for second interview I am a female in Southern California

I am 24 year old female in southern California and my second interview was with an area manager and it seemed during the interview that he was trying to hit on me.

Is this common in the company

I was not very receptive to this and unlike my first interview he did not set up a third on the spot. Is this normal?

Does this mean that I did not get the job?

I do not want it any more it would however be nice to know if I will be offered it.

What do you think?

I've heard this is common in some parts of the company. I wouldn't be surprised, given the stories we've heard from some people.

Usually the 2nd interview feedback is sent back to the recruiter and the recruiter will call within 24-48 hours to get a 3rd set up, or will call and turn you down. The reason it takes so long is because generally the 3rd interview is conducted by the area manager's boss or another higher-up.

Don't believe the hype!

If you are a woman at ERAC prepare to be hit on. Body shops, dealerships, and ERAC men will more than likely harass you in some fassion at some time. If you do take the job, be prepared to document anything that happens and report it to HR and keep the documentation. That way ERAC is on the hook to do something about it. Problem is, as I have seen...they rarely do, and the employee doesn't press it. In 3 yrs I saw only 1 female make an issue out of it, and got a guy fired at a dealership. Sad thing was he got hired at the dealership across the street (same owner) and the ERAC girl was moved to a different city. Erac is not dumb for hiring "eye candy", but they are negligent in the fact that they let a lot of things go on in the interest of making more $$.

Enterprise loves to hire women, especially because there are so few in the company in upper management. ERAC is a great company for females, so look into it, they will probably promote you faster than a more qualifed white male, so for you that's a good thing. How come you don't know where you stand? If you don't ask for the sale you won't know if they want you, so make sure you ask at the end of each interview(and this can go for any company you are interviewing with) "So, how do you see me fitting in with your team?" I agree with grease. You're very lucky you didn't have to suffer a fate like that. No doubt you would have wound up with some third world disease if you don't already have one.

Grease, you've got the big bumpy? Gross. At least you're with all star company. Michael Vick from the Falcons has it too. Or should I call him...
