Default Thinking About ERAC

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has an awesome program for anyone interested in a career. If you are interested in the program, the best source would be to contact a local recruiter and not rely on the words of terminated employees, or people who quit the company. Visit the true website for actual facts.

Ya, because everyone on here is a liar. Except for the people that still work for Enterprise of course. They aren't going to lie to you even though they get huge bonuses for you signing on. Everything is "Super Fantastic" in Enterprise World. You will be rich, have great friends, and all your dreams will come true.

Reality is somewhere in the middle. Figure it out for yourselves instead of having someone else tell you how you should think.

You really have to go through it all and draw your own conclusions. Lots of people hated their experience here, but ERAC has also spawned quite a few millionaires and loads of six-figure salaries. If you log on to a website calling "Failing Enterprise", expect to get a fairly one-sided view of the company.

It's similar to learning about politics by watching the Fox News Channel.

If you check with Alexa.com, you'll see that FailingEnterprise.com gets more traffic than erac.com, the official Enterprise recruiting web site. What does that tell you?

Somebody mentioned that ERAC spawns millionaires and six figure salaries. I'd say that's true. For the 2% of green kool-aid drinking team players who get this at ERAC, it's super-fantastic.

However, the rest of the six figure incomes that ERAC produces are from the 98% of us who can't hack it, and get paid what we really deserve at companies who treat their employees humanely.

Sure, it's a bit one sided here. But- there have been plenty of voices of reason telling their stories on this site (i.e. "I liked the job for the first few months...I liked the people I worked with...I learned a ton of new skills...would have stayed if they paid decently/better hours/more understanding of outside obligations...") so it's not completely out of line.

One other thing to think about: do you know of any other company that has a website where ex-employees get together to warn would-be employees about working there? The only one that comes to mind is Wal-Mart, and their labor practices are well-publicized. Not just consumer complaint sites- real employee complaint sites. I'd venture to guess that this is one of the largest on the Internet.

I'm glad to see that ERAC.com is getting less traffic than here- apparently we're getting to the latest class of college grads and they are doing their homework before accepting that first cup of green kool-aid.

I gotta give Corporate HR props: they took the infamous "lunch at your favorite Italian restaurant" scenario off the website.

It's entirely too slick and cleaned up for what you really do everyday, though. Typical E.

Default enterprise HR website should say...

Car wash and rental ticket writers needed.
Minimual healthcare provided.
6.50 an hour.60 + hours a week.
Possible chance for promotion.
Idiots welcome...call you recruiter today before some other chump gets to wash cars in a suit before you do...

erac SUCKS!
