It is what it is. I joined ERAC in 1993 when there was still lots of "real" growth in the US. I made L3 in three years. I also made "6 figures in 6 years". Besides the money, I got a ton of GREAT real world business experience as a 7 year L3. I ended up leaving a year or so ago as the culture of the company in my estimation kept sliding more towards the all might dollar and away from employees and loyalty.
I have been able to parlay my ERAC experience into a $75K salary + commission job after leaving and have since left that job to start my own company.
In my estimation you need to get past L2 with Erac to get the "really" good experience. However, many outsiders that like to hire ERAC folks have a higher opinion than the company that most of us "insiders". Which can be good for those with ERAC on the resume.
