i think the poster made a valid point. in erac's case this will not happen overnight because it is private and Andy Taylor will not let that happen before he sells and ERAC goes public. at that point it could go down the tubes quick or they can make changes that will benefit employees and quality of work life. if it goes public the promotion from within may stop and the pyramid scheme. because now there is imbreeding going on and the place will never change with imbreeding the same regurgitate sales tactics. if you have a kennel of dogs and they start imbreeding then sooner or later you have some pretty f uped dogs and that is what happenned to erac over the years.

Actually, many recruiters (atleast in Canada) have adviced over and over again to take ERAC off the resume as they know that ERAC is desperate and with poor retention rate, it does not show great performance either.

I know I ended up in a good position by taking ERAC off!

Valero Energy. One of the ten best companies to work for in the country. I work a split week four tens and have ALL holidays off. I have maxed out my employee stock purchase plan in the 7 years I have been with them. See Valero stock (VLO) I started buying 6 years ago after 1 yr of employment at 8.64 a/shr as of close yesterday stock is sitting at $64.60 p/shr. You do the math punk. I worked for ERAC for 1.5 yrs out of college and it doesn't come close. The pathetic pay and the oh so weak benefits told me after I received my first paycheck that I wanted to find a job worthy of My Time. I see ERAC was not even listed as a Best Place to work in MO. (I wonder why that is?) See proof at top 100 employers in CNN money. So keep chasing that dream and you may some day be lucky and get that 6 figures or you may just get canned or the dream just might tire you out chasing it. Your Just like Coronado finding the fabled seven cities of gold in the 1500's, He was told again and again that the city of gold was just over the horizon-kinda like ERAC stringing you along.
