I don't think anyone has ever failed at "renting cars". They've just gotten irritated with the worthless people they work with and the shitty, miserable, piece of shit company they work for. No one ever said I want to rent cars when I grow up... it's a lame job and ANYONE can do it... it's just a matter of WHO wants to deal with all the bullshit they have to put up with for such little pay....

It's not renting the cars that makes you a failure at ERAC - it's the belief that if you keep working hard you'll eventually get the golden carrot dangled before you - you will NEVER get it.

Waa Waa. Why are you so miserable? You failed at renting cars. That does not mean that other people won't be able to figure it out and make tons of money. Go back to your 9-5 shift and call it a day.

Your just not capable of renting cars. As far as other companies, I work for one of the larger Drug companies, that is also family owned. We love ex-enterprise employees. In fact, we prefer that our sales people have at least 1-2years of Enterprise experience. I worked for Enterprise about 10 years ago. My sister works there now as a City Manager. She lives in a bigger house than me and drives a Porshe on the weekends. I come to this site to see what poor employees are talking about so when I interview them I know which ones will fail at my company and I know not to hire them either.

They don't, huh. If you did your research, you would see that 10 of the largest bankruptcies in history all since 2000 have all been many 10s of billions of dollars and a few at 100 billion or more. The fact that you measure yourself to your sister for success shows you have some issues. You're a pussy.

I left Enterprise and have never been happier. True to a cult mentality, some of these people can only validate the reason that people would want to leave is because they failed. I am sure some did, but many people who were successul leave on their own. Wanting to leave. Could you imagine?! It is great that you love Enterprise, but not everyone wants to stay there forever. Regardless of the money. I worked there for 6 years and left about 4 years ago while I was an Area Manager. Yes, the money was great, but I was unable to enjoy my family due to the long hours. You miss your kids growing up. I don't see why regular 9-5 business working hours should be mocked. Another reflection of the cult. I work 9-5 at my new company and still make great money, yet now have plenty of time to spend with the people I love. But people like this would have you believe that is impossible.

- Happy to have moved on

Very nice statement. I could not agree more. ERAC is not for everyone. I happen to love the people with whom I work so I enjoy spending many hours at work and with them after work. I don't think I could give up my $175K/year to work 10hours/week less. Good for you. Enjoy life to the fullest in the best way you can.

Accidents will never stop, so they have nothing to worry about. Hertz, their biggest threat is run by people who have no idea what they are doing. Avis has not desire to get involved in replacement on a serious level. Yeah, ERAC will be around for quite some time, I would guess forever. 20 Billion in the next 10 years. That is 100% growth from where they stand today. Have fun trying to fight a battle you will never win. Why do you care anyway? Go find success and stop hating. You sound like a little baby. Waa Waa

Hey pinhead, New Century Financial once valued OVER 26 BILLION DOLLARS FILED BANKRUPCTY on Monday 4/2. They are the second largest holder of sub-prime loans. Yeah, so much for 10 billion dollar companies not filing for bankruptcy. Go back to your kool-aid cooler and put your blinders back on your ass was handed to you again. NEXT

As much as I despised working for ERAC, it's not true that potential employers throw out resumes with ERAC. But most of the companies that aggressively recruit ERAC employees are the direct-sales oriented positions (pharma rep, insurance, financial advisors, yellow pages sales, etc).

Those extra 16 hours a week of work really help.

ERAC is embarrassing - from what I've heard, most, if not the majority of potential employers look at ERAC on a resume and immediately throw it out.

Why hire someone that rented cars?

It's a fuckin embarassment. I can't wait for this corporation to go bankrupt, and everyone higher than ass man to starve in the streets.
