Best Career in the world. Be prepared to work hard, be diligent, and take ownership in everything you do and you will be great. I have been w/ the company for nearly 7 years. I make well over 100K and spend my days taking my employees and accounts out to movies, golf, lunch, and pretty much anything I want and Enterprise pays for it.
Good luck

PLEASE do NOT take this job. Worst mistake I ever made. The hours are horrible and they will work the hell out of you. Most days you won't get an actual break. You will start seeing friends and family much less. You will constantly be tired. For what they pay you, it is NOT worth the garbage and toll it takes on you. I wish I found this site before I got sucked in for 3 years.

If you end up taking the job, do all you can to keep your resume out there and schedule interviews. Don't get sucked in.

You will work long, hard hours. You first year you will only make 32-35K. You will also learn how to run your own business which is not easy. You should be in this for the long term. Give it 5years and if you are not loving life then look for a new career. If you give it your all, and accept you will make certain social sacrifices then you will do great.
Good luck

Good luck
Unfortunately, even after 5 yrs, if you make it that long, there are no guarantees. I've seen 10+ yr branch managers, who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, but certainly no fools on what makes ERAC work. They're only foolish for staying around that long for a dead-end career. Sometimes it just comes down to plain bad luck. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Which is how most peoples Enterprise careers end.

There are no 10 year employees that are still branch managers. Another bull shit story.

I am sorry to say, but the person who keeps saying "good-luck" at the end of his posts...well, I've heard the exact same thing word for word from HR over a dozen times.

Yup, I agree with that last post. And you know the 'good luck' guy is full of it because he thinks renting cars is the best career in the world. If anyone believes that then they should take this job. Stupid people should not breathe, but there they are.
