| A girl I know who worked with me at Enterprise was full time.She wasnt promoted because she only worked 40 to 45 hours a week due to a medical problem which meant she had to go to the Drs one day a week! They thus considerd her a part time employee...what a joke! Anyone consider this a part time job? |
| |||
| Last time I checked, anything over 35 hours at E was full-time. |

| I do believe that anythng over 35 can be considered full time and be elligable for benefits. It's over 40 that is required to be paid OT for hourly employees. I know a diver that was working over 40 as PT, so he got on FT to get benefits, then the manager cut him to 39.75 to save $$ to pay for his benefits...typical ERAC thinking!! |
| |||
| I put in my two week notice about three weeks ago and I have been at "part time" for one week. Last week I worked 42 hours, but they yanked my benifits anyway.....never make enterprise your part time job, it will become your full time life. |

| Legally after 35 they have to pay out benefits. Most BMs don't realize that and will try to grind out 39.75 out of their PT car preps and drivers. If the DOL comes aknockin', you're screwed. Anything over 40 hours is required to be paid at an OT rate; your quote-unquote "salary" is based on a 48- or 50-hour work week (depending on the region). So an MT whose quoted "salary" is $30K probably has a true base around $19K or so. |

| That's about right- my base as an MT before overtime was $1500/month...that's 18K/year. Or...$9/hour. |
