obvioulsy your head is clouded with bong resin and smoke. of course he will get the negative side here because 90% of it is. what balance are you talking about. money? extremely unbalanced they way it is dispersed. hours? extremely lopsided from branches to corporate. lies? extremely unbalanced in the ones in power's favor. work life balance? it is all work work. advancement? this occurs because retention is like 30% so yes you will get promoted by the last man standing approach or by default. i could go on all day but the truth is there is no balance other then you will great friends based probably like you did in college or the military because you all going through something so bad you will build a bond but for the company and job your trainnig class will have like 10 people in it after one year there will be 5 left and then 2 yrs 3 left and by year 3 probably 1 or 0. so you do the math you don;t even have to listen to anybody. just look at the data and do the math in your head and draw your conclusion ifd this is a good job or not.

listen bro. i spent 4 years there. 3 months prior i interviewed for an area spot and id not get it. i got the hook and bait treatment from the group rental mgr. there will be 4 openings in the next year. "i have your back" the next day he fired my area mgr who hired me, trained me, groomed me. this guy loved every minute of erac and spent 14 years there only to have his boss come to him and tell him it is time to part ways. the same guy who told me he would get me promoted after the sentence of i got your back tried telling me "your boss retired" could even give it to me straight so i called medical recruiter , no pharma experience got a interview the next week. he hired me out of 50 people and i never looked back and don;t feel bad about it because the lies never stop. if i would have not caught the group rental manager slip up in his circle of lies i may have been there 3.75 years later but i didn't.

Maybe erac got me the job maybe it didn;t. even if it did. it was my f**king blood and effort that got the pharma job not erac. erac does not give a fu** about you or anybody so why should i compliment them or give a shit about them. erac gave me a playing field to display my talents and gain experience the things i learned at erac i could of learned elsewhere in a entry level job.

let me ask what do you do know?

Jaded may be the understatement of the year for you. I'm saying, pharma employers LOVE ERAC employees. It's very common (at least where I am) to see it work both ways. I have had a few MTs that are former reps, and also lost a few to the pharma companies. You got experience at ERAC that they like, not that you wouldn't have displayed your talents elsewhere, but it seems as though pharma companies like the experience you get specifically at ERAC. I don't know what your deal is, but ERAC isn't the devil you make it out to be. I work with many employees that love their job, call us 'tools' or whatever you will, but we like what we do and we are successful at it. Those are the only two things that matter in a job. If you hated it and are all disgruntled fine, but it's not the wost thing you've ever done like you say it is. And if it was the worst thing you've ever done, just be glad you're out and opened up an opportunity for someone that wants it.

i just layed out an outline of a person in a top tier position with the company who lied through their teeth to me about a situation that affected alot of people and 11 people left because of it 5 mgrs, 4 asst's and 2 others. At a REAL company somebody doing that would be fired, not at erac. I enjoyed my time at erac with my coworkers. the people running the company and the people in the higher positions were my problem. i had fun and enjoyed my job and co-workers. you must be new or someone has got u drinking alot of the green stuff! I knew about some of those things going on prior to that but my boss was loyal and would filter the bullshit so we did not have to deal wit that stuff but with him gone everybody started to see what was going on. the higher ups are supposed to be respected and truthful people not the opposite and that is why i left. that my friend will not change and their is a dark side at erac and it lies at the top. in time you will find out or something will happen to you and you will be singing a different tune! how long have you been at erac? i doubt you're a manager yet and the higher you go the stuff you were sheilded from will break through and you will see the light.

if you had an area mgr come to you and say with all of the generation x'ers coming on board they have to have a map of what to do because their mommies told them when to go to the dentist and what time practice is,etc. this includes desk cleaning and i had to follow up with the area mgr at the end of the day if it was done. i don't know about you but that was the light for me. i felt with a college degree and my co-workers went to college that was an insult to everyone;s intelligence and micro managing some intelligent people that a monkey could do was pathetic. this was their grand scheme to get higher paid mgrs out and bring cheap fresh ones who could be brainwashed. this is only one example but this how the higehr ups run that place and you will be apart of that one day

I'm a branch manager and I have been with Erac for just a shade under three years. These things happened in your group/area/region, not mine. I haven't shared any of the experiences that you speak of, otherwise I would feel the same way. If you're mad because someone covered up the fact that someone was fired, not quit/retired, that's weak. It protects both parties and is none of anyone's business why someone was let go, so they SHOULD lie about it. That's a person's personal information that doesn't need to be nor should it be shared.

it sound like if i give it a couple of years it can give me the step to get somewhere. being a financial specialist isn't going to do that. banking sucks because advancement is almost non existent. plus even with advancement you think i could make 58K plus a 35K bonus, co. car, laptop... no freaking way. you'd have to be a branch manager. and in order to do that you have to be in your 40's and by that time I'd just rather shoot myself if i wasn't making that way before then. i am going to look up a recruiter and see if i could pay them for a connection. i wouldn't give two shits about doing that if it gave me a good opportunity. but if that is shit you have to take something in life and ERAC does look like it has some benefits, even the people that have spoken on this message board have shown me that they got something good out of it.

what state are you in? also it would be one thing if the guy wanted it covered up that he got fired. he told his people that he was fired for poor performance and the gm did not like him and wanted him gone. the guy told us all this and the group rental mgr had to know he would tell us and still proceeded to lie. so that is why i am mad at the situation. how can you trust someone like that says "i have your back" anyway have fun preparing for tommorrow morning sweetheart!
