Default My first interview was on friday now they tell me...

That I am not qualified to work at Enterprise, they did not elaborate as if I was "overqualified or if I was "underqaulified". I was told based on my resume and my qualifications that I was not qualified to work at enterprise in their mgmt trainning position. I will recieve my Marketing degree in about a month, and I have over 3 years of retail experience while I was in high school. For the past three years I have been an Asst Manager at a apartment complex. These people are crazy.

It was probably your personality but they can't really tell you that because their afraid you would sue.

Don't feel bad. I know you probably need a job, but you could get the same experience working at Costco, and probably make more money.

No recruiters give specifics regarding why they didn't hire you because it obviously puts the recruiter in an awkward situation. Maybe they feel you're too qualified like you said or under qualified and don't wanna offend you. You could ask them to give some tips to improve your interviewing though since they have seen it first hand.

But to ask them to point out the goods n bads about you will be unprofessional in any industry.

Dont sweat it. In a year you'll look back at this post and laugh uncontrollably that you were even worried about it.

It probably was a personality issue. Having a degree and/or similar sales experience is a requirement, however, if you they feel you are not trainable (READ: you are independent and not gullible) or don't go along with the flow, you may not get hired.

What kind of idiot can't pass the first interview? Damn I got hired with no experience, straight outta college, with an assault conviction while I was still on probation. That is no joke.

WOW AM at an apartment complex, I'm sure taping eviction notices to people's doors makes you "over qualified"
