Dear Cereall,

We regret to hear that you took a position with another company that cannot help you with your career, like Enterprise can. We are here for you and would like you on our team.

About your salary question you will be making $10/hr and commission. When I was in the program I made 67k that first year and quickly got promoted to HR management.

Please reconsider and give me a call personally.

Sincerely,

Laura

Crazy, Crazy isn't? I am was shocked!!!!!!!!! Guys, Thank you thank you so much. It is because of this website that I declined the offer. It was the Maryland office. Before of a lady called Lara.T.Ferraiolo@erac.com and another called Laura they will call you.

Stay away from this address.
8100 Professional Place, Suite 306
Landover, MD 20785

Cereall

I like how they try and make you feel guilty for not choosing to work for them. Someone in that office really needs to work on the verbiage they use when sending declines. They try and tell you that you missed out on a great opportunity, but they are completely unprofessional when telling you that information. What a joke!

Its pretty sad then. You people who cant even manage to make it as a Management trainee are real Walmart Retail employees.

No hope.

Actually, those of us who are no longer with Enterprise left because we posess the qualities that "career" ERACers do not: talent, ambition, independence, drive, intelligence, and creativity. We came to the realization that Enterprise is nothing more than a pyramid scheme. We left because we realized that we were simply too overqualified for what Enterprise had to offer. We have the capability to succeed in environments that require more than answering phones and selling damage waiver. And after seeing what an idiot 4+ years at Enterprise will turn an individual into (look at most Level III & IV employees), we felt it was time to get the hell out and pursue REAL careers. Brag as you must about your $80,000 but you probably have little or no life outside of Enterprise and please realize that as you approach being fully vested in Enterprise's lame profit-sharing plan that they will find a reason to force you out. OK, go away, you have callbacks to do.

Also, after the interview, I didn't hear anything for two weeks, and then I called and left a message. Nothing. I called back on the 4th, and I spoke with the recruiter, and she gave me some song and dance about the managers being out of town, and that I'll know by early next week. Today, the 5th, I got a rejection letter, dated for the 3rd!! Before I had even talked to the recruiter. WHAT THE F#&*? Can somebody explain any other this to me?
Enterprise is hard to get in to but it is not worth it in the end. Coming from an ex-eracer, there are many other jobs out there that will be happy to have you. Plus, Enterprise is not highly regarded once you leave. They are the joke company amongst other companies and any MT's resume who ends up on the desk of a recruiter at another company laughs because they know that they were suckers!!

whats wrong with picnics, happy hours, company parties?? Would you rather work for a company that was not willing to spend a single dime on their employees?

a business is a business, is a business, is a business. Go to any other company and see what they do when you tell them "I don't want to sell X because I don't believe in X." you won't have a job the following Monday. If you don't like the business world, go be a school teacher.

Nothing is wrong with picnics and company parties except when they are touted as a "mandatory function" and you're not compensated. Most responsible companies do not have happy hour functions these days because they are seen as a potential liability. Too many times work, ethics and behavioral lines get blurred between drinks. Back stabbing and rumor mongering are the tools of ERAC to keep employees on their toes for the next promotion. The hard honest MTs are routinely passed over and the unethical brown-nosers usually get the promotions. Got good waiver-forgetaboutit. How about good ESQi-nope. Guzzle a few pitchers of beer-now we'er talking. Good golf swing-your promoted!
I routinely saw female MT's thow themselves at the City Managers and higher ups at these functions. Lines were blurred and one thing led to another. On the following work day the e-rumor mill would work over time dragging these women through the mud.
If you already work for ERAC your not worth a dime anyway- the 6 year 6 figure is a lie and it doesn't cost ERAC anything. So keep schlepping those cars you brain-washed e-chimp.

You are really full of shit. phamacists routinely refuse to fill prescriptions for RU486 and birthcontrol pills on religious grounds. You don't see them getting fired.

That is the stupidest comparison I have ever heard. And if they aren't getting fired it is because the government/law has some hand in it. They should be out on their asses.

Stupid but true-look it up. Pat Robertson is suing Illinois on the behalf of Pharmacists who refuse to fill these prescriptions on religious grounds. That is just one high profile case in the news recently.
