Default I was rejected after the 3rd interview

I made it through the second interview with the area manager, and i had an interview with the regional manager. And I just got a rejection letter. I pretty much had already decided that I was going to say no anyway, but still. I feel like if i can't get a job with ERAC, then how can I get a job anywhere? Also, after the interview, I didn't hear anything for two weeks, and then I called and left a message. Nothing. I called back on the 4th, and I spoke with the recruiter, and she gave me some song and dance about the managers being out of town, and that I'll know by early next week. Today, the 5th, I got a rejection letter, dated for the 3rd!! Before I had even talked to the recruiter. WHAT THE F#&*? Can somebody explain any other this to me?

Please don't think that way - ERAC is actually quite difficult to get into - they don't employ just anyone and they select a very particular type of recruit.

Just thank your lucky stars that you won't have to work for them :)

Keep working hard with your job hunting and, as we say in Scotland, "what's for ye will no go by ye".

Was this in the US UK or Ireland? Same thing happened to me with the Irish HR...you expect some sort of response after going to all the effort, plus some interview feedback, don't you? Every other company I've ever interviewed with has managed this.

Just consider yourself blessed that you didn't get in. Once you're in you're sorry. Enjoy your life........Good luck on the job search!

be happy you dont work for erac!! really! It is not worth the aggrevation!!

erac wants phony slimeballs to work for them to help them rip off the customers and the employees, too. I thought the same way when I was rejected by erac but I researched more and talked to a lot of ex-erac-trainees here and everybody say the same: forget it, i am happy to be out.

There are other companies that are way better and actually do care about their employees. I work for Lufthansa airline now here in my country and I have a 9-5 job, a nice salary, 30 weekdays off a year (ok..thats germany LOL) and I get flights 90 percent off around the world with lufthansa and can stay at lufthansa partner hotels for almost nothing and they even pay for my school etc. AND MY WORK IS APPRECIATED

Just keep looking and dont give up and you will find a better job because erac is yucky - everywhere :)

Did you ask for the job? Maybe they also felt you had already decided to say no. If you want a job, you need to act like you've been waiting your whole life for that opportunity and really sell yourself. Just fyi for your next interview. If you do that your odds will really go up.

Don't feel bad, I too received the rejection letter after the 3rd interview. I'm assuming for me anyways that it had to do with my age; from what I have read on this site they look for people in their early 20's, I'm 30. Actually I was turned down twice, I know...pretty sad. But that’s ok b/c I'm working for a company now who actually appreciates their employees and I don't have to work crazy hours; they have flex time. Keep your head up and believe me there are better jobs out there.

Rejected probably because of something stupid like:

1. You're an honest person
2. You're too old
3. You don't drink
4. Seems like you are the type of person with a conscience and wouldn't want to rip customers off.
5. You have a family, therefore will not put ERAC as your #1 priority
6. You didn't wear a white shirt, tie, and suit
7. You have a brain, or even half of it
8. You cannot easily be brain washed.
9. You're ugly
10. You're fat

ERAC is scum, they didn't hire you because they look for candidates that fit a certain profile.

Thats so fcuking funny lol... Yeah if anyone hasn't already caught on you have to be a drunk to work for ERAC. My regional manager called a meeting at a local sport grill for our area. Everyone got trashed, which is typical, branch managers driving home drunk in company cars no less. To get to the point the regional manager Barbara Doty's husband (gp50 btw) got so trashed he picked a fight with another employee and then pissed on someones car in the parking lot. You will find HIGH class employees at enterprise lol.. NOT!
