Ha ha! It's funny how everyone changes their minds after the branch interview isn't it? I was put off by the general unenthusiasticness of the managers, even they didn't like the job, plus hearing them justify working stupid hours...

Thank god indeed. I was fresh out of University in Canada and needed a job. After a quick 5 min phone interview call-back, they were not interested in me. I guess my honest and rational nature really threw them for a loop.

Funny story, before school I worked at a few car dealerships in two provinces. The ERAC staff who visited both were oddly the same, and by the same I mean forced smiles, clean-cut stiff nature, blank eyes, almost like a cult. I was not the only person there who noticed it.

I saw their ads on workpopolis.com and there were always ads for every single area, standing ads, due to the turnover.

The branch i visited - that was just a very weird experience.

The branch manager, his assitant and two trainees were there. The trainees were outside washing cars. The manager told me that this is the first time they have to wash cars because the person who was responsible for washing cars was called to a different branch......oh yeah?! (funny thing is, everytime i drive by on my way to work those trainees are still washing cars...guess the "responsible person for that" magically disappeared...LOL)

the branch manager was totally brainwashed telling me how great erac was, how much he loves his job, how much he loves to spend time with his assistant and trainees even after work and how much erac is one big family.
i felt like i was pushed back to the 80ies by looking at the branchs computers.

I never ever wanna be part of erac. I love to work but I have a life, friends and family too and I dont wanna give that up for anything.

Someone needs to send them a message.

Dear Enterprise,

Thank you very much for your interest in my resume. However at this time, due to the guidance of "Failing Enterprise", I have decided to pursue other careers at this time.

Thank you again and good luck in your evil recruitment scheme.

Sincerely,
XXXX

Thats because it only asks you for your current employment and if this job doesn't meet all the critieria of what they are looking for the, newbie Recuiters assistants just pass on the app. without thinking hmmm, I wonder if this person has had more than one job?
