You probably answered those application questions wrong. They look for specific answers..kinda like a personality assessment test to see if you would match up with the job. I wouldn't beat yourself up over it..

Unregistered...that's a cool username.

Not sure who you directed that at, but I assume it was me. When I filled that online app out, it had several questions that were similar to questions you would see on a personality assessment. Then there were a few questions where they placed you in scenarios on a job. I assume if Erac declined this person based on their online app, it was probably because of that.

Is this the real text from the message? Did you notice how it doesn't even reject you; you have to infer it from the message? This is a non-rejection rejection.

An adjustment refusal letter. Companies use them to say no without saying no. They don't want to come across as negative or harsh. They don't want to say, "sorry", "no", "we can't", "we won't", "you are wrong", etc..

example:

Dear Mr. Smith,

Thank you for your intrest in Crappy Brand product. We understand that our product has maimed your spouse. I am sure you would agree that this creates a new opportunity for your wife to start writing her name with her toes. Her new found ability and elegibility for the Special Olympics must make you proud. Please accept a year supply of Crappy Brand product with our compliments.

Thank you,

E. Crappy

Yes, I understand the goal. It's still really offensive. They want you to receive a particular message without them being responsible for having sent it. This is responsibility avoidance at its best. You wouldn't want to work for any company that does this.
