I appreciate this site.. But stupid me..can't figure a new post? Where is that? Anyway.. my issue...

Called the Number.. waiting on a response.. waiting waiting waiting.. ok?

Seems the PT Cruiser has EAR system that autolocks when you start the car.. even if you aren't in it. So we called Enterprise...they were very busy.. monday morning. told us ..our responsibility..call a lock smith or whatever.. here is the issue. We Just moved here... and while we were moving our stuff in the UHAUL my GT had all the wiring messed up by field mice... so we had to put it in the shop. We moved here for my hubbies new job..that started today..so he needed a car..so we rented while the other car was in the shop ..(and started mowing down the HIGH GRASS from previous owners to get rid of field mice arrgghh)... so Hubby goes to the new job..and starts the Pt.. comes in with the groceries... and goes back out and it was AUTO Locked..while running! Enterprise finally opens..and the car is STILL NOT OUT OF GAS..but used about $20.00 worth! Arrghh again..and hubby has to track down a ride to work! (Lucky he was leaving early...)... so Enterprise says the ONLY key is in there and they can't help me...and its my responsibility to get the key out.. how did WE know the Chrysler auto locks with no one in it? Weird... ! (Seat sensors Chrysler PT Cruiser? HMMM )... So.. not only do we not get to use the car we rent.. it uses up all the gas and we have to pay $55.00 to open it..because Enterprise only has one key? Is this right? I have a call in from the number you had on here..cause the contract says nothing that I saw... What is the recourse?
Thanks.

there is no recourse...but if you bitch and moan enough, most likely someone at the branch will discount your rental
now with that being said, people like you make this job hard for people like me. no responsibility for your actions, always wanting free shit, etc.
"but i didn't know the car would run out of gas when it was on empty, my car never does"
etc etc etc

realize that you fucked up, nobody but you locked the keys inside the car.

and furthermore, erac only has one key
the cars get bounced around so much it would be impossible to keep track of them all.
if you locked your keys in your car you'd have no choice but to call a locksmith...not any different when you rent a car.
sucks having to be responsible

Guys... I am responsible.. I have BOTH Sets of Keys to my car.. I didn't lose them moving the cars around... umm isn't this the POT calling the Kettle black so to speak.. you are telling ME to be responsible and then tell me you lose the 2nd set of KEYS that comes with the cars when they are new? What is that? Secondly.. Hear me loud and CLEAR I CALLED CHRYSLER..The CAR LOCKED ITSELF WITHOUT US being in it. MY OWN CARS DON'T DO THAT! If I did lock my keys in the car.. yes.. I would have to pay a locksmith.. I take responsibility.. We are DIE HARD CAR People..and had NO IDEA the PT Cruiser had this feature.. seems enterprise guys..and they were VERY NICE ... didn't know either.. so they didnt' tell us it would do that... My Husband started the Car.. picked up stuff and brought it in the house came back out WHILE LETTING THE CAR WARM UP.. (do you guys not warm your cars????) and the PT CRUISER's ARM System locked it up.. it doesn't have a Seat Sensor.. it doesn't know if someone is in the car or not.... anyway.. I had hoped that there would be a 2nd key or a key opener to open this..but Enterprise has lost all that now... and couldn't provide that for me.. so I had to pay for a wrecker..AND didn't have a car to go to work... ! Which is why I rented it. I am not a HardAss...used to work for Enterprise with FORD..(but we had all Ford Cars..and I knew the car features...) Come on guys give me a break here.. I am RESPONSIBLE..We warmed the Car up.. so as not to mess up the Engine... We NORMALLY have two keys... but I would have left the DOOR open if We knew it would lock by itself.. WE didn't know this.. I don't normally bitch and moan.. believe me.. If I did.. I would be rich..not renting cars while mine is in the shop...BECAUSE My dad was an AUTO Designer......VERY WELL KNOWN....and I am not fighting and bitching for MONEY from that..but yep.. I know a LITTLE about cars! I am NOT stupid... this is a bad deal.. for all of us... I say Enterprise needs to sent it up the Ladder to Chrysler! To the Designer that did this... :) No hard feelings Guys.. really.

HaHa. Save money?! Maybe if you're living at home with Mommy and get a ride to work. Some of the people who work at ERAC have "grown-up" responsibilities and $30k barely pays the bills. One day you'll learn junior.

Why Do you just Randomly CAPITALIZE and put capital Letters in Front of shit, do we need to Review the difference Between nouns And proper nouns?

And who said anything about us losing our spare keys?? They are all sent to our admin departments when we pick them up from the dealership. Nobody said we lost them, we are just smart enough to keep them all in the same, safe place in case of a real emergency, not some dumbass locking them in.

I'm an ERAC veteran. I make a lot of money. If you don't mind a lot of hard work, then you can make a ton of money too. If you are not into working hard every day, all day, don't waste your time or ours. If you have it, and don't mind working, then go for it. ERAC will pay you of you deserve it!Nothing else needs to be said. Those who leave aren't cut out for it. Those who stay get to play-and get paid!
