You people are the ones brainwashed. Delude your self into thinking you can get by on fluffy hopes and dreams. Like i said, its a hardball world and the currency is benjamins, not flitting along through life like a butterfly. You gotta sacrifice and I know my sacrifice has paid off and will in spades when I become an area manager which is probably within 2 years tops.

I'll be golfing with the boys and watching my business build itself, making my MARK on the world.

ERAC is like a set of tools. In th wrong hands, things just get more messed up. But with the proper motivation and instruction, you can build something impressive that takes on a life of its own.

Have you ever even read The Pupose Driven Life or Who Moved My cheese ? I'm trying to help you guys!
golfing with the boys watching your business grow at erac?
you think that's how it's done?
try 50-60 hours a week for minimal pay and vacation time
my last ARM was making around 72k, working and driving obscene amounts, dealing with petty bullshit day in and out...i'll take my 50k and enjoy what i do, something very few erac'ians can legitimately say
it is you that needs motivation, motivation to get out of car renting and doing something meaningful with your life.

to branch $$$ manager --- you are a embarrassment to yourself and enterprise. do you think you will actually be golfing with the boys and watching your business grow. i was an area mgr for 2 years. believe me it is not that unless you are at an elite to eat but you won't be watching your biz grow you will actually be getting phone calls from assit mgrs for cars people and accounts calling you asking why you have no cars or people. you are actually more naive then a trainee at this point and that is sad. good luck! i make 90k now and work in the pharmaceutical industry. looking back i would not trade my pharma sales job for erac no matter what the price is.

LOL. Thanks for the laugh. You truly are a loser.

oh yeah, I am an awesome area manager in a year and I make $500,000 per hour....STFU and GBTW....

ERAC is a house of cards that 1 lucky soul gets to make money.

Anyone who works there over two years is either unemployable anywhere else, too lazy to look for a better job situation, or just plain stupid.

Who voluntarily works for a company that works their employees like dogs for 55 hrs a week and for less than $30k?

you gotta be kidding me. Get some self respect, you have a college degree...if you work retail for a big corporation that doesnt give a rats arse about you...then you are getting what you deserve

Go and find a career, not a retail job

erac is a terrible place to work long term. it is fun in the beginning and gets old quick.... one thing that benefitted me though is if you take it serious while you are there you will get a better job then if you did not work there. however erac should be ashamed of themselves for their pay structure.

OMFG I am DYING laughing over here having read, and re-read this fuckstick's post several times...It is some of the fucking funniest shit I've ever read. And to think a real person believes and wrote this shit.

What a poetic loser. He should be given the microphone at Orlando to speak to everyone. Level 3+ turnover would skyrocket!!!! Some kind of reverse motivational speaker.

"steely eyed glint" oh shit it hurts I'm laughing so hard.

You COMPLETELY lost the point of the original post AND my post, and have no idea why you replied to me, with you mumbo jumbo poetic nonsense. I love how you try and compare Enterprise to characters from Wall Street! They dealt in the stock market Enterprise RENTS CARS! I will be honest in that I was sold on the dream for the first few months of working there and enjoyed the hard work etc., but it didn't take me too long to realize that no matter how high you climb on the Enterprise ladder, your still RENTING CARS! Honestly all the 6, 7, and 8 figure ERAC'ers should really leave this site and start a Pro Enterprise site selling the "Wall Street Enterprise Dream" to college grads!
P.S. "steely eyed glint" I got to see in my managers eyes was actually tears welling up when he was fired without notice and driven home by his ARM.

One more thing...it drives me nuts when they use the buzz terms to sound smart "Selling dub, sitting tight, growing fleet, upselling"
FYI -
Selling dub = selling extra car insurance
sitting tight = selling most of your products, or not having inventorty to sell
growing fleet = buying more product to sell
upselling = selling a better product

These are all simple and yet Enterprise makes them sound like rocket science.
