Wow...is it the weekend already?! Damn. Week just flies by when you don't have customers yelling at you and washing cars in 85 degree heat with 90% humidity. ANyways, first off, to all ERAC peeps, one of the big 6 is this weekend, that's right, one of only six Holidays you get off during ther year. Me, I get 11, but hey it's all about you this weekend. So I figure I'll tone it down a bit, just the facts sort of thing. Ok, so today our company closes at 3, they do it every day before a holiday so we have a chance to beat the traffic. And I'll need it as I am heading to a friend's house in Old Orchard Beach maine for the weekend. Little beach, little bbq, lot of beer. A good way to toast the un-official end of summer. Now, it being Labor Day I don't want to rub it in too much, especially for all those airport locations that will actually be working on Monday, so that's it. Come on, heap the abuse on and call me "Robert". Let's go Goofus, still waiting for some witty retort. And if any of you E-Clones is going to be in OOB this weekend let's meet and toss back a few. I'll be the one smiling and loving my life!

You just reminded me of how many BBQs, party's and family get togethers I missed when I used to work there...what a miserable memory! I remember when I worked at ERAC the long weekends that we actually did get were so cool because it was like a "regular weekend" everyone would be all excited, even though we already knew how much Tuesday was going to suck...so pathetic.

I'm working from home today so the traffic wont be an issue for me...I also took Tuesday off and I'm working from home on Wednesday too so thats a pretty sweet long weekend! Its going to really be a gorgeous weekend in New England this weekend too, theres not going to be too many more weekends like this so I hope all you ERACers really do enjoy your "regular weekend"

Thanks for the update B$IAL...I look forward to them every Fri.

It's very funny how at a normal job the last day of work before a long weekend or holiday is usually a cake walk, but at Enterprise you know it is just a larger spoonful of the shit they make you eat everyday. I look forward to driving past a branch on the way home today knowing they'll easily be there until 6:30 tonight. Sell that waiver and keep booking those deals!

At ERAC, you almost dread a holiday weekend more even though you get an extra day off because the Friday before and Tuesday coming back is absolute hell.

Oh yeah, especially the people who don't want to pay for Monday because it's not their fault you're closed on Labor Day/Christmas/Thanksgiving/ whatever!

Yikes! I forgot about those people. They are like the ones who want you to come to their house and pick up the car.

I remember one time, not long before I quit, and I was giving this annoying woman a ride to the dealership to pick up her Piece of Shit and she says hom inncovenient it is that we are not open later until like 9 because she has to rush around. So I look at her and say that the reason we are not open until 9 is because if we were you would be sitting here asking why aren't we open until 10.

That was a great answer. I liked the feeling of empowerment, as little as it was, when I knew I was quitting.
