Why does Enterprise accept reservations and then not honor them? That sounds like the looniest thing I ever heard of!

To get the brass ring, you need to show you are mentally strong, iron willed, and disciplined. They don't just hand out company cars and store keys to every lackey that walks though the door. Its a hardball world and you need to prove the U have something to offer. The steely eyed glint you see in any BM or ARM or above means they know people skills, how to negotiate, how to play to strengths, how to play to weaknesses, to how move in for the kill. Did you ever see the movie Wall Street? We are Ruthless like Gordon Gecko, like Tony Montana in a sharp suit.

It's all about running your own deal and staying true to the vision that has rewarded myself and so many others. Not my problem if YOUR vision of success is hazy and unrecognizable. I've been a branch mgr for 3 yrs and I am living the dream.
Yeah enterprise is just like military boot camp!! yeah ok get a life and stop dreaming you are hard core because you wash cars,, I almost fell out of my seat laughing at this post. Comparing enterprise to boot camp is like comparing your mom to a supermodel it just ain't happening.

Wow...weekend already!? Good stuff. So, my update for this weekend is pretty good. Tonight after work I will head up to NH for the weekend. Attending a family Christmas party, should be fun. Gifts, food, booze, what more could you ask for?! I hear they may get a little snow up there, nice way to set the holiday mood. On sunday we will make our way home, relax for a bit and tidy up the place, maybe start decorating. Then, on Sunday night, we are going to a friends house in Newton to check out the city tree lighting which takes place near his place. We'll make hot chocolate, add a little bailey's then head out to meet Jolly Saint Nick. That's about it. Lot's of family gatherings this time of year, nothing too exciting. Although I did just book my California trip for March for San Diego and San Fran...god I love to travel. It's great not working at ERAC, I actually have the time and money to do it!

The only people I hear saying "beeyotch" is the 14 year old neighbor and his buddies. If you want the fag to suck on your balls that makes you a fag, too.

Sounds like a nice weekend. Although baileys is delicious I also recommend putting peppermint schnapps in the hot chocolate. Yukon Jack will keep you warmer than a camp fire if its going to be wicked chilly out. Do you have a flask you could throw some of that in?

This time of year reminds me of how much working at ERAC truly blows! No time off around the holidays...working in the miserable snow and cold. I used to love when WE had to pick up customers because there was a snow storm and it was NOT SAFE FOR THEM to drive to our office...um HELLO!

When I worked in rural western mass we used to drive Suzuki areos through snow covered corn fields...that was kind of fun. Those little things actually handle well in the mud and snow!

I can't wait to find out what eracs gift will be this year. I wonder if GP48's lame ass christmas party will be at Mohegian sun again this year (in which employees have to pay 200 bucks to stay there over night).

Happy Friday! Before I begin my weekend update I was just wondering whatever happend to Branch$$$, Steve Williams, and now the Solider guy, could it be that they all realized how much ERAC sucks and they can no longer defend it? Have they finally spit up their kool-aid and seen the light? Did they get shafted or speak to some family during the holiday season and realize there is more out there, and it's all better? If you guys are still here we would love to hear from you. Either you have come to the realization that your job sucks or you are on the way there and can longer defend it, but we want to know.

OK, on to the weekend. Well, tomorrow I am planning on sleeping late, getting lots of rest. Haven't done that in a while so it's nice not to have to work on Saturdays and being able to sleep in. I remember whn I was an MT and had a Saturday off and my Asst. Manager called at like 9 am to ask me how to jum start a car. Wow! Anyways, I think the wife and i will go grab some breakfast, something light like a coffee and scone from our fav local cafe, then time to go get a Christmas tree. Come home, put up the tree and then relax, perhaps wrap some gifts and deck the halls and stuff. At night, heading out with some friends to catch a show and maybe some dinner. Sunday, take my father-in-law out for lunch for his birthday. Then back to the house where I got some friends coming over to watch the Pats go to 13-0 against the Steelers. Pretty full weekend as we get closer to the Holidays and wow, a day off for ERACers. I have a 5 day weekend then, very nice. OK, well, if the eguys I mentioned earlier are around speak up!

It's nice to have that kind of flexibility. I will be attending the Vikings-49er's game this weekend. I don't feel like working the Monday after the game so I asked my boss 3 weeks ago for the day off. He said "sure". It's nice...sooo nice. I know my Enterprise managers never would've agreed to that.

Have a good weekend!

Let it snow let it snow let it snow! Boy, am I glad I don't have to shovel out 20 cars, and clean them off and salt the sidewalk all while wearing a suit and nice shoes because ERAC won't let you wear boots. It was nice to bounce from work a bit early yesterday due to the storm. However in anticipation of that I came in early and skipped lunch. So let the ERAC worshipers bash me now! ANyways, good weekend planned. Got my annual Santa Crawl tomorrow night, about 15 of us put on Santa hats and hit a bunch of bars, pretty good time. Then Sunday I will relax while the 2nd storm hits Boston and I guess just watch the Pats kill the J-E-T-S! Good times. Well, since all the erac lovers have given up I guess I'll sign off for now.

Can the Pats go 16-0? The Giants might not need that last game (same as the Pats). Which team will have more incentive in a meaningless game, the team trying to make history or the team trying to prevent history?
