Got four days off myself, and today at work is like an extra day off. I have been in my office for two hours and I have not a damn thing. No phone ringing off the hook to go pick up some jerk of a customer at the dealership at 7am, no cars to scrape ice of, no washing cars in freezing temperatures.

For the first time, I didn't ask for more ties and white shirts for Christmas. I actually got things that I like. And for my gift from my work, it didn't have a company logo on it, it was an actual bonus where I can buy goods and services, not an ERAC pen or tote bag with a huge ERAC logo on the front of it.

Gotta love it. I actually had to work on Monday & today after all because I provide sales support for my sales reps, but it's sooo slow. These are like days off too. Monday was just out right ridiculous. The whole company ended up shutting down at 3PM. I was able to work on my throwing and catching skills, surf the net, and bs with the execs and coworkers. No company logo presents here either. And it was definitely $'s well spent. Because I spent it.

I'm looking forward to my 5 day weekend during New Years...I'll be sure to write about it so stay tuned...

Happy New Year!

Today is one of the big 6 ERAC holidays! yipee...good for you guys!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Massachusetts has raised its state minimum wage to $8.00/ hour...thats only 2 bucks less than what ERAC pays its 4 YEAR COLLEGE GRADUATES!!!!! So you went to an expensive 4 year college and earned a degree and some high school drop out working at Walmart is making two bucks less an hour than you with NO expensive student loan payments around the corner. I hear McDonald's has a good management training program as well. Everyone in MA applying for a job at ERAC please reconsider. Try getting a stepping stone type job at a bank, or doing something for your college. Even an entry level factory or office job would be better. If you like retail try circuit city or something. You'll be better off trust me!

Got 2 new slogans for ERAC to use

Enterprise-"Taking advantage of people in a slow economy"

Enterprise-"We hire the handicapped...because they're fun to watch"

FRIDAY.....WOO HOO! I am so glad it's Friday. Man, remember working at ERAC and how much Fridays sucked? All those $9.99 WES that never take junk and want their cars now and the last two hours of the day hell. Now Friday is a great day, casual, pretty much finish off your tasks from the week and get ready for 2 days of not thinking about work. I hear a lot of, "Let's deal with it next week." I like it. Well, my weekend is going to be great. Scored me some tickets to the Pats game tomorrow to watch the Jags lose in person. Playoff football, gotta love it. 4:30 just can't get here soon enough today. That about 2 hours before the ERACers will be leaving. Oh well, life is good!

Amen to that. No customers calling 5 minutes before close for a pick up AND the dubless 9.99 WES. And then picking up that customer only to have him try and negotiate on that 9.99 WES...DEET-dee-dee. I'll be out at 5:30 and making my way to Hooters to watch the 107.7 Bone Rock Girl competition.

I have a full day on Saturday...just not at Enterprise. The SF Rod and Custom show is this weekend. I wouldn't be going if I was still at ERAC. I am soooo glad I do not have to work Saturdays anymore. After the show, it's playoff time! 7 hours of football.

Hooters? Bone Rock Girl competition? Hot Rod Show??? Sitting on your ass for 7 hours watching football???
Honey, you're a real classy guy! LOL
Next weekend, try this list of things to do: Museum, Gym for workout with trainer, classical music concert. That's how I'll be spending my weekend, honey. And yes I do have a WES car from Enterpuke. Now that you don't work for Enterpuke anymore, howzabout growing your brain a little bit, hon?

I never claimed to be a "classy" person. That's what I love about this country. Now that I'm out of Enterprise, I actually have the income to DO and BUY the things that I want. I actually OWN my cars so WES are out of the questions for me. I already spend 4 out of 5 weekdays in the gym (because I don't have to work 55 hrs/wk) so I don't need to wait for the weekends.

BTW...your response demonstrates how "classy" you really are. A person with true "class" would not have responded the way you did using a word like "howzabout". Is that Ebonics?

You are no longer my favorite African American Renter..."HON"
