Oh boy it's Friday! Out at 4:30, head home and relax for a bit. Then around 8 out for dinner with some friends. No going home early because I have to work tomorrow, can stay out as late as I want. Tomorrow, head up to NH to a beer and music fest. Some friends have a place up there so I will be spending the night. Get up Sunday and head into Vermont, maybe hit the Harpoon Brewery for lunch and a beer before the drive back home. All in all a great weekend.

There is nothing insulting to me about ex team mebers admitting that the Enterprise Challenge was beyond what they could handle. Like Judge Smails said "The world needs ditch diggers too" And you are right. there is not enough room for people to all become BMs and ARMs. Selling dub, sitting tight, growing fleet, upselling, these are part of it, but there is aslo an element of being an ERAC warrior that is not too different from boot camp or basic training. To get the brass ring, you need to show you are mentally strong, iron willed, and disciplined. They don't just hand out company cars and store keys to every lackey that walks though the door. Its a hardball world and you need to prove the U have something to offer. The steely eyed glint you see in any BM or ARM or above means they know people skills, how to negotiate, how to play to strengths, how to play to weaknesses, to how move in for the kill. Did you ever see the movie Wall Street? We are Ruthless like Gordon Gecko, like Tony Montana in a sharp suit.

It's all about running your own deal and staying true to the vision that has rewarded myself and so many others. Not my problem if YOUR vision of success is hazy and unrecognizable. I've been a branch mgr for 3 yrs and I am living the dream.

I'll give ya a name, Gary Palmer. Caught him doin a line in admin the other morning before a managers meeting. Maybe thats what he needs to cope with this shit hole of a company. And then the people who come on here and moan about how shit things are when an person as high up as Gary is doin that. Complete shitbag!!!!

Weekend!! Yup, took tomorrow off to have a little long weekend. Did the samer thing next Friday so 2 long weekends in a row. Didn't get any shit about it for being short staffed, won't getting any calls or have anyone pissed at me. It's great. Think I'll sleep in then head to a local coffee shop for breakfast and to read the paper and relax. Maybe in the afternoon hit a bar down by the water for some frosty ones. Love it!!!

its great to see all the naysayers and complainers about erac. it shows how many piece of shits we have working in many regions who cant hack it at this job that you all love to complain about. you are the MT that cant sell 100 dw points. you are the MT that hates customers. you are the assistant that cant run tight, and cant multi task well enough to take care of customers and find the cars you need. all you have is excuses, which is the reason you cant perform. You all started at the same place and were bought in for at least your first 30-90 days. you saw something in this company and then you all get weeded out by the few performers and those that believe in the mission statement, future and see the big picture. i work in another region but its clear to me thats all the jabronie ass posts on here complaining about pay, lies from upper management or whatever other bs were those that could not perform, have limited skills and have no future with this company. we only hire 10% of all people that interview and the potential you showed when you started and the belief you had all withered away because you did not have what it takes and did not have somebody to look up to who motivated you to perform. those that succeed dont make excuses and dont have a goal of becoming an just assistant or branch manager. im wasting my time if thats my goal. I will be an RVP and i will have whatever luxuries i can ever want. those that quit and make 60k and work 40 hours a week, great for you. enjoy that same pay for the next 20 years because thats the most you will ever make. those that succeed in this company are the hungry, motivated and aggressive people that want to compete to be the best and are willing to take it in the ass for a few years so you can reach levels of financial stability you desire. those that have shitty work ethics, cant sell, have no personality or cant stand customers are those that love to hate on everything, even though you all admit how easy this job is and how all we are doing is renting cars. Well, sadly you couldnt even do that well so all you have left is this anonymous forum to spew your complaints. enjoy away kids. Im not here to preach how amazing this company is. but complain away, its all good. i know who you are, and you suck
