You people are the ones brainwashed. Delude your self into thinking you can get by on fluffy hopes and dreams. Like i said, its a hardball world and the currency is benjamins, not flitting along through life like a butterfly. You gotta sacrifice and I know my sacrifice has paid off and will in spades when I become an area manager which is probably within 2 years tops.

I'll be golfing with the boys and watching my business build itself, making my MARK on the world.

ERAC is like a set of tools. In th wrong hands, things just get more messed up. But with the proper motivation and instruction, you can build something impressive that takes on a life of its own.

Have you ever even read The Pupose Driven Life or Who Moved My cheese ? I'm trying to help you guys!

Hi there! I just got through the first interview and was wondering if I could ask you a question.

How did you feel when you found out about your compensation for the first time? Is there a purpose as to why mt's are compensated little for hard work?

I am praying that this is truly a job that rewards you through hard work and sacrifice.

Listen-
Did you not notice all of the other ex (and credible) ERAC employees in this thread whose experience and perspective are a 180 degrees opposite mr $$$ branch manager?

They do not compensate you adequately down the line. You are being fed lie after lie after lie. Branch managers make as little as 40 grand and as much as 60 grand, which is peanuts for the bullshit and hours.

This company is barely growing at all. Most of its growth occurred in the 80s and 90s. Terminations are the only way you can get promoted. If you take this job, you are a fucking idiot for not doing your due diligence.

yes you are spoiled in LA compared to most states. you have to also figure in cost of living and i bet it is pretty comparable and in proportion.

Yo boss you rollin' in the rental car? Better make sure it ain't no bigger than the Grand Prix or you could get fired if your caught driving that SUV after hours. Have fun cleaning it up after work so you can pimp it for the ladies, but just remember to peel the E sticker off the back before you roll out.

To get the brass ring, you need to show you are mentally strong, iron willed, and disciplined. They don't just hand out company cars and store keys to every lackey that walks though the door. Its a hardball world and you need to prove the U have something to offer. The steely eyed glint you see in any BM or ARM or above means they know people skills, how to negotiate, how to play to strengths, how to play to weaknesses, to how move in for the kill. Did you ever see the movie Wall Street? We are Ruthless like Gordon Gecko, like Tony Montana in a sharp suit.

It's all about running your own deal and staying true to the vision that has rewarded myself and so many others. Not my problem if YOUR vision of success is hazy and unrecognizable. I've been a branch mgr for 3 yrs and I am living the dream.
I hope this is sarcasm because this is the fucking most ridiculous statement I have ever heard about anything. You have "the mean glint" you are, "Gordon Gecko from Wall Street"? In reality you are a tool that made B's and C's in school and have no other options. You fucking suck, stop polluting people with your loser ways, ERAC sucks, deep down in your tiny soul you know it and your mother hates the way you turned out. sucks for you....

It's a shame that potential ERAC warriors are getting turned away from The Opportunity and The Challange by this website and its bizarre scare tactics. I would take a new recruit under my wing and show him what can be done.

We provide the tools and demonstrate the talent. It is up to new hires to figure out how to merge the 2.

I can't wait for EOM next friday. We are getting a 12 pack of corona light and ordering pizzas, just chilling and decompressing while we straighten out the books. good times.

1.) If you love ERAC, why visit this webiste.
2.) ERAC warriors, remember your renting cars, not slaying dragons!
3.) How does one go about merging "provided tools, and demonstrated talent" to make money renting cars?
4.) Corona and pizzas is what you have when your 16 years old....grow up

I have a strong feeling this "Branch $$$ Manager" doesn't work at ERAC, because any normal person would not talk like this about renting cars, and this has got to be a joke?

nah i could see him being real.
some people are truely that naive...but give him the credit of at least claiming to like his job...if that is indeed true, that he finds happiness renting cars, then cheers, not everybody can say that about their jobs.

but what a dork though lol
who would possibly look forward to hanging around a shitty branch on a friday night with beer and pizza, decompressing?
that doesn't sound fun at all, sounds terrible and to soften the stench they buy pizza and beer.
erac has got to be the worst place to have a wife and kids...yeah you've worked 50 hours already this week, here's some beer and pizza we're gonna need you to stick around late on friday
lol imagine the office manager from office space saying that lol
