P.S. The other day I tried emailing a funny story from cnn.com to some of my friends who still work there, only to remember that they wouldn't even be able to open the link at work. Yet another thing to add to the list of things that make Enterprise a terrible job.
i just cannot believe how naive this branchmanager fool is
does he really think any of his employees are looking forward to staying after work on a friday? that reminds me of when my ARM would pay my branch a visit and the first thing he would ask is "are you having fun?"
wtf kinda question is that? i'm profusely sweating in my suit, washing cars and portering bitchy people around, how much fun could that possibly be?
this sorta thing permeates upper management at erac

I'm lookin in the fridge and seeing those icey cold brews just waiting for friday night. We are rolling area meeting and eom into back to back nights, so there's a lot more than 12 beers back there bro.

Got my latest new hire to sell 48/46/12 this month and a seat at the dinner table.

Like I said, good times. Enjoy the unemployment checks lol!
Now I know this guy is full of it. No ERAC office sports short sleeves...unless you are a car prep. Pretty sad that all you are looking forward to is a couple of beers while sitting in the office while the rest of us see the big picture and have our sights set on the cottage on the lake, lots of beers outdoors and taking out the jetskis. Enjoy your 2 corona Lights inside your sweaty office. I'll be kicking back under the stars with my ice cold ones and a nice cigar.

Awesome point! B$M is full of sh*t. No one is allowed to wear short sleeves, even on a Saturday. What a buttplug.

Wow, I'm impressed. Short sleeves? I'm jealous!! Staying late on a friday night do drink cold beer and eat free pizza?? You my friend, ARE living the Enterprise dream!! "Hey honey, I'm staying late tonight at work...they're giving us free pizza!" "Great dear, YOU earned that free pizza!"

And what's up with the unemployment check comment? How many retirement parties have you been to for an ERAC employee? Don't feel bad, When I first started with ERAC years ago, I thought it was the best job available. I thought the people that quit were idiots...I mean, they had the world in their hands. And that when they quit, they must be unemployeed! It's okay Branch $$ Manager, you'll soon come to the realization that there are better jobs out there.

IT's Tuesday, you're only at 97.3%? Better get on the ball.

My fav thing I recall is when they claimed its "like" running your own business..

they really should emphasize the word "like", because the only thing that has anything similar is the work you put in..

YOU DO NOT OWN your own biz there,....if you owned a company, hell if you even partnered in biz...taking 40% of the profits would not be unheard of ...as opposed to a wopping 12% there...and I know I am being generous..

You also do not get to make any choices of who things will actually work w/o being told in detail how to change your thoughts...

LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT....YOU CAN BE FIRED AT ANY FREAKIN TIME....plus....YOU have to wait for an opening to be promoted...its the purest form of a pyrimid out there....guy at top making all the money...and getting to the top has very little to do w/ your work ethic alone

Awesome points. Could not have said it better myself.

the sad thing is i knew all of this and continued to work there thinking i could beat the system. I realized that the cult is to strong and the only way you can win is to quit and move on to GREENER pastures. i am now in pharma sales and live my life on my terms not erac's. I really control my territory wheras erac led you to believe that you were but in reality you managed a business on erac's terms, not yours.

Hey Branch$$$, how was Friday night with your Corona Lights and greasy pizza? Sitting in the office with the other clones sipping your beer with the top button of your shirt unbuttoned and pizza sauce dripping down the front of your shirt must have been great. Then getting up on saturday morning, still stinking of beer and going into the office which must have reaked of sweat and pizza must have been fun. Just remember, while you were doing that, I was at my place at the lake in NH kicking back, watching the Sox and just loving life. This Friday, while you are huffing and puffing about finding cars I will be getting off work at 1:30 to head up to my buddy's place at the beach in Maine for another weekend of drinking beers and kicking back at the beach. Think of me while you are trying to reach your ARM on the phone to get you cars. Book don't look!

Dude- Much props for that reply! I have never laughed so hard about any other post on here. What is really funny is that you remember that this e-chimp actually bragged about the pizza party when the tool bag was giving up a Friday night! Keep up the good work. LOL

And the lyrics this guys should have been listening while enjoying his pizza and beers with his co workers. Because after the week there were probably 2 people quit in his area, should have been..

"another one bites the dust" Queen - 1980

Maybe this branch manager will come to terms with his life and job and realize what a friday night is supposed to be! Planning to enjoy yourself and not washing and doing plants on friday night for monday morning. with the same people you just saw for 80 hours......
