I don't understand why so many people are so cynical. I have been with ERAC since 2000. My first year I made $30K. I live in a big city and that was plenty of money for me to live a nice life. I make 4X's that now and really enjoy working for ERAC. For those of you that are considering a career with ERAC then go for it and give it everything. For those of you that hate ERAC for some odd reason, I ask why?

"those that hate erac for some odd reason" cause renting cars sucks dude! don't act like you don't know this. very few people find a passion or love for car rental...ask the hundreds of thousands of people that have left your company. it's a dead end job with little pleasure or future for most, a stepping stone to bigger and better things and i call bullshit on you...how come these 6 figure peeps don't exist IRL at erac? shit even my old ARM wasn't making even close to that...but every pro erac person who posts here is 6 figure plus, i call bullshit. |

Guess this guy went to work at Wendy's after he left ERAC

My last year in college (same area I live in now) I worked 40 hours a week at 7-eleven making $7.50 an hour. It was enough to pay all my living expenses including rent. I didn't own a car then and had no health insurance, but obviously the salary is not something I'm worried about. That's why I want to see if I'm missing something here. Seems a lot of people here just want to bash enterprise. "Take home is a lot less than gross!" guess these people went on to jobs that pay under the table. I'm not saying it's great or anything, I just want a fair analysis.

dude people here are not bashing for some unjust reason. there are 90,000 posts a day or something like that on this site. this company will teach you alot of things and will get you to a better job in 2 years. i had fun in the beginning and then later when you become a manager the fun wears off and all the things erac promotes no longer applies to you and you are workhorse and will have no life. that is the god's to honest truth. you will learn valuable skills make some friends and learn all the things you do not want to do in your professional life and will grow a sense of thankfulness that you can have freedom and a life somewhere else. your call.......

Everyone goes thru the same ERAC program. The employees that work hard make it and the employees that complain about everything don't! The 1st few years are tough, once you get thru that the job is easy and pays great. It only pays great if you know how to run a business. If you failed then you are not meant for the business world. Go be a teacher, the world needs more teachers.

to itsunjust..... if it were that simple guy everyone would be happy at your company...... i see area mgrs get fired or quit like allen iverson drops buckets...... it must not be that rosy or everone would actually stick around. running a busines takes alot of work but in no way is it brain surgery. most people that runs their own businesses do not have a college degree. the ones that make it are able to hustle, make great decisions and keep there vision in mind every day. lets not make this out to be some dream.... and last point people that run their actual own businesses take the bulk of the profits. they don;t take home the crust of the pie and still come to work smiling everyday. until erac gives their front lines back some of the pie they will ever have high turnover. you can not admit that is not the truth.....

You said one great thing,"the ones that make it are able to hustle, make great decisions and keep there vision in mind every day." The employees that do that succeed and make serious bank! Anyone can do, most choose not to do those things and fail. Then they come her and blame ERAC. I make more $$ than everyone on this site and work far less hours.

to almost got it...... i worked at erac and was an area mgr. i walked. i guarantee you i make more money then you but that is either here nor there. when your time and demise comes you will know..... have fun whitelining employees for a living. i could not stomach sacrificing and using employees to better myself anymore. half of the employees that worked for me and probably work for you can actually do so much better for themselves and i did not want to hold them back. i did not belive in altering people lives and persuading them to risk there youth like i did.. i chose to make money for myself by myself which is what i do and am happy.
