Learning to run a business at ERAC...

OK, so they tell you the experience at ERAC will teach a person how to run a business, and that this education begins as an MT. What specifically did any of you with ERAC experience learn about running a business as an MT? Branch Managers, do you think you could run a business on your own with your ERAC experience?

I gotta say that from my 10 months as an MT I learned nothing about running my own business, or any business. What I learned was how to deal with terrible customers that dont want to be doing business with you, and how to deal with a very difficult work environment.
Managers at Enterprise had a tough enough time keeping the employees happer and stay with the job, and I definately wouldn't say they learned that much, about running the business, as they were simply magaging a retail store, and did not have any say in most of the day to day activities.

You have to complete the MT program first. As a Level III employee it is running your own business. It's too bad you couldn't even get to AM.

Why would they want to be an AM, they have the biggest drop out rate and as an MA you will earn more $$ you shit.

In my opinion, the AM is probably the worst position in the whole company. You do everything a MT is supposed to do, and more. The pay???? Yea, sometimes, my MT's used to get better paychecks than I did, due to the overtime they get paid for, where AM's are now strictly salary and commission (which is a joke)
