I went to High School with him and he was exactly the same...noone respected him but man he thought he was the shit.

I just heard that an area accountant, who had recently been promoted a week or two earlier, gave his two weeks notice because he got another job as a CFO for another company. Apparently either the GM or VP of rental came by to congratulate him on his promotion only to find out that he put in his notice. From what I understand, whether it was Bob or Bill, they called Harold who then told the employee to pack his things up immediately. Anybody heard anything about this? If this is true it wouldnt suprise me. What a nice way to say goodbye to a 10 year employee. Its not like this guy went to Hertz or another competitor. Just another way that ERAC respects their people.

Well, Cliff apparently backs him on this. What he really needs to realize is that his employees, all the way from MT's to BM's don't respect him. He will never be an EFFECTIVE LEADER if his people don't believe and respect him. You don't have to like the guy, but you do have to have to respect him. He has not changed his ways since he was at 51 and he never will because that is who he is.

The HK I know is one of the best area mgrs in the group. She used to be really hot, now she's gained a few lbs, but she's cool.

The HK I know is one of the best area managers in the group, gets promoted like every year. She used to be hot when she was a manager, but she's put on a few, it's all good though, I'd still do her.

I always enjoy it when somebody discusses a female employee and concludes by volunteering whether he'd "do her" or not. Somebody over in HR grinds her teeth at night because of this.
