ERAC Banned from Career Center

To all those thinking of working for Enterprise let me tell you about our experience.

I am a career advisor at a state university. Prior to this week we have had a long running relationship with Enterprise and have sent many of our graduates to their company. Enterprise spends millions every year advertising their "Management Training" program in countless universities across the country. Ours was no exception and we received literally thousands of dollars in advertising revenue for our job board and free gifts (dinners, tickets, etc.). I have seen several other advisors bribed by companies like Enterprise into sugar coating the company and even outright lying to students.

Last week one of our advisors was caught by a school administrator attending a sporting event with an Enterprise recruiter, (which was fully paid for by the recruiter). From this week forward Enterprise has been completely banned from recruiting and interviewing at our university. Hopefully this will send a message to Enterprise and to other schools.


Here is what you as a former employee can do:

-Get active in your schools career center and volunteer as an alum advisor. Not only can you advise students concerning your career path but you can also personally warn them against pursuing jobs with disreputable companies like Enterprise.

-Whatever you do don't rent from ERAC!

Why so secretive and not identify your school?

I've heard of this happening at other schools. Whoever wrote this probably doesn't want to embarass his or her employer.

What sporting event was it? If it happened recently, it could have only been baseball.

for your info prick...... do you know what they were doing there. do you know that enterprise often takes out accounts and members of the facilities that we sponser and those that sponser us? how do you know thatthis enterprise emp and your advisor were not just hanging out on behalf of enterprise, as a thanks to mabye that one particu;ar person that mabye had sent a few good people their way. such a prick to jump to conclusions. " oh there they are, they must be planning a hostile takeover, and now eneterprise is going to steal everyone we have!" grow up, if a career advisor and an enetrprise recruiter were out together, i can guarantee that as long as the advisor had done their homework on this company, they are not going to be stolen. probly the recruiter saying thanks or getting some good info on the process they go through before sending students their way. grow up jerk and i hope you are wrong and get fired for being dumbass :) @';--'--

I think you made him mad.

You can always spot a true green bleeder. Their use of poor grammar and spelling is directly proportional to the length of time they've been with the company. I would say this individual must be a level 4 or above. The brain-dead can't even spell Enterprise correctly!
