Sounds all too familiar and it doesn't matter what group you're with. Did I miss the boat or is this a technique ERAC teaches at a certain level?

And to make it even worse, you are bragging about other people paychecks that you have not even seen. You are bragging, in essence, about other people lies!! Funny!

I had one BM who had no reservations about letting me know he was broke. He was struggling to pay his mortgage. Another one did not own a car and rented a room in a house which was shared with a couple of roommates. My third and final BM showed me how they figure commissions and what a BM could "theoretically" make, but he would never tell me what he made. They all were quick to mention that our GM was raking in 6 figures a month. It makes washing 2 year old, high-mileage cars with a greasy rag and a bucket of water and vacuuming with a duct taped shop vac on the 5th floor of a shitty hotel parking garage in 80+ degree humid weather for 30k a year seem worth it doesn't it? "Someday you could be Wayne Tanaka". BLAH BLAH BLAH, EAT MY ASS!

It's a common practice in ERAC to always talk about how much other earn even going through the extent of calculating their commissions. It's a technique to make you assume they're earning a certain amount when in fact there are so many variables which comes into play that can effect ones commission. It's all a world of make believe.

When you actually believe "you're running your own business" as an employee of ERAC, your standards of choosing a mate stoops so low you begin to date and subject yourself to fucking fellow employees, and last but not least, you actually geniunely believe the ever elusive $100K is a decent annual salary.

Many like to talk about Tanaka like they're his personal CPA and priviliged to all of his personal financial information. The truth of the matter is, they have never seen and verified his compensation in the form of a check stub or bank deposit and Tanaka is simply selling a dream to keep the boat of hopes and dreams afloat for his personal benenfit.

Hahaha, this is so damn true. Every time a level 3 employee and above argues for Enterprise, they always talk about what VP's and above make and they heavily exaggerate as well. That's like saying I should go work for McDonald's because Ray Kroc is a multi-billionaire as the founder and CEO.

You know you work for ERAC when your weekend is ruined b/c you're already stressing over monday morning and how crappy it will be.

... when you dream of the day you get out of that hell hole (and when you finally do quit, you remember why life is worth living!)

... you wear a suit everyday and work insane hours... and when you do the math to see what you make per hour, it comes out to about $13/hour. You'd make more being a secretary... or a full time car prep!
$13 dollars an hour? Are you a management Assistant? Because after taxes and 401k, your hourly rate averages out to be barely over 9 hours an hour. I made twice as much being a waiter in college.
