I and most of us have already "done something", and it's for the better. Posting on this site does not "limit" our future, it allows us to look back on a very non-humorous part of our lives in a more "hilarious" fashion, that's all. I don't think you're trying on purpose to pick a fight or side with ERAC to annoy us or anything, but you've pegged us (or the vast majority of us, at least) wrong. __________________ "ambition makes you look pretty ugly" - Radiohead |

| Oh car prep girl.....what a fuckin title right....I personally never saw one girl as a car prep so this must mean you are truly pathetic.... You know illegal immigrants around the corner at the local car wash make more money than you right? But knocking people on this site as a car prep......intriguing to say the least. |

Most of the people here aren't here whining. It is because ERAC is an unethical place to work where the upper level management looks to work you to the bone, not giving you adequate lunch time, overpromising and underdelivering your career at ERAC. I'm definitely not stating that most of the people here deserve a better job than ERAC with their low GPAs and general studies or communications majors. The harsh truth is that most of us are or were in this predicament is mainly because of our faults. With the current economy doing so bad, it doesn't help either. |

I was simply making a statement, and after some people with respect for others have responded and made it easier for me to understand why everyone on here does nothing but talk bad about the company. I'm not trying to defend ERAC, I've seen some of the employees sweat and work their 60 hours a week, and get paid shit for it. BUT, I've also seen people being praised and appreciated. I've seen people being rewarded for a job well done. I've seen people being sent home early for personal reasons. I've seen alot of things that alot of you insist don't occur. When I signed on as a WHITE LEGAL CANADIAN CITIZEN... to work as a car prep, like ALL of the car preps in my region, I knew what my job would entail and until this point, that is ALL it has entailed. I've never been asked to do anything outside of that. I can honestly say that so much of the stuff you guys talk about regarding the treatment of the employees doesn't occur at my branch. I mean, the lies and the things that are told to customers and such are the same, and I understand how that could be a breaking point for some people. But, attacking the fact that you have "immigrant mexicans" and such, and that I'm pathetic for the job that I have... show how pathetic SOME of you really are. |

And yes, you say you dont want to make it a career but since you have such a glowing perception of eprise I thought I would just go ahead and throw out some realistic situations for you..... |

Do you want me to take a picture of the people I work with? Gorgeous ladies and very good looking men. Sure long days... They come in a 7:15 every morning, but surprise, get their work done and are all leaving the office by 6:30.. 7 at the VERY latest. And yes, we drink a fair amount, and I might even suggest that 2 of the MT's I work with might actually be alcoholics. But that leaves 5 other people in the office who can handle themselves. Like I said.. I honestly don't beleive that ERAC is the best job in the world, and I don't intend on working there past August of this year when I get my diploma and move on in life. However, it's not always the company, but the poeple in it. I beleive that you guys had a shitty time, and I wouldnt want to walk 2 steps in your shoes, let alone a mile, and some of the MT's in our office are pissy and hate every moment of their jobs. But some of them are happy and love what they do, isn't that their right? Our BM is a great guy, and he's very easy going, and our area manager is amazing as well. He's always looking to help everyone out, and when he comes to our branch, he always makes sure he says hi to everyone and talks to them for a bit about anything they have concerns about. So, maybe the area that I work in is one in a million. |
