Re: ANY DISCOUNT CODES? The best way to get discounts as has been said before is to complain that something was wrong with the rental. If you have the car a while in the middle of the rental tell them the car has problems starting and you want an upgrade, make them come to your house and switch you out, and don't accept anything smaller than what you have, you will probably get an upgrade, then when you return tell them the car smelled like smoke and that you had to clean it or pretty much any story that you weren't satisfied with something about the car. Also when you book the car, do your price checking, you can usually get a cheaper car elsewhere using a travel website like cheap tickets. But if you still want to use enterprise then tell them you want them to match the rate of someone else, make it about a 20% discount or so, nothing too crazy. Secondly never act like you really need the car!! Always make a reservation and when you do, don't ever act too excited over the phone, make it sound like you are very price conscious. So book yourself a super cheap rate, then complain in the end, you can probably save an easy 50-60% off maybe more. Another trick, if you buy coverage (and I think DW is a good thing) always make them separate out the damage waiver from the PAI (personal accident insurance). Don't buy the "basic coverage" just get the CDW and make sure you only initial one yes box they get tricky there too. |
