"Stubberfield" was a made-up character on the board, who was sort of mocking CA/HI GM Greg Stubblefield and making ridiculous posts.

That's awesome that you deleted all the speciality cars reservations at the airport. Another fun thing to do is throw away the gas card in the dumpster before you leave. To be honest I have noticed that most new MT's aren't required to have a college degree. I would say it's about half and half now. But the trend seems to be shifting towards a high school diploma. When I left two people had college degrees the other three MT's had high school diplomas.

ERAC IS A 'GUY' COMPANY. IN MINDSET, AND WELL, IN FACT. MY OLD REGION HAD 2 WOMEN OUT OF 14 ARMS/GRM. AND BOTH OF THEM WERE INEPT, YET NEVER GOT ANY STATIC, 'CAUSE THEY HAD ENOGH PROBLEM TRYING TO RECRUIT WOMEN IN THE FRONT DOOR WITH THOSE ODDS!

Admin...your comments are usually right on the money but I am afraid I take offense to what your saying about people not accepting women in high positions.

"Blame" came on this site and sounded like a crack head! She was always talking about how well she was doing even though shes a women. No one here really cared what she was or what she was doing....it was obvious that she is one of those people witha chip on her shoulder about it.These women think everyone is against them and they have had to struggle more than the men....to be honest everyone who works as a manager and above has worked hard.

what people forget is that for women to be accepted then men have to accept them.I think this has happened. Now women need to get over it and move on.Out of 4 of my wifes friends 3 of them have claimed they have been harrassed at work or have been denied a promotion because of there gender. Two have bought legal cases and lost. The cases are ridiculous.I just wish I could tell you about them. They are the ones making it hard for people in the workplace! Women have to accept work is hard and they are not always the best for a promotion instead of whining about it.Believe me you will be rewarded if you suck it up and work even harder!

ERAC hater out!

Actually, I was alright with "Blame". She was obviously older and smarter than the average poster here, knew what she was talking about and wrote clearly and forcefully. We need more posters like her.

Look at the Enterprise filings at the Missouri Secretary of State's Office. They're all public documents on the web. You'll see the top 100 or so officers. A simple count on this list will show Enterprise's lack of progress in promoting women to senior management.

Hey Blame! Get in the kitchen where you belong and make me a sandwich! Just do what you women do best, be a sperm recepticle and pump out babies.

This is just officers of the Missouri Corp office I believe. All the GM/VP's/RVP's in the field are officers also. Most likely a higher % of women and minorities will be found there.

Not really. There are a few, but it is nearly impossible to have a family as a woman and keep ERAC hours.

Most gals I've seen get tired of the bs and the toll it takes on the body and peace out. The ones who decide they want kids or really believe that they can't work anywhere but ERAC go to admin where the hours are more normal.

If you are a mom who works 60+ hour weeks and never sees the kiddos, you are viewed as a crappy mom. If you are a dad doing the same thing, you are perceived to be "working hard for the family." This is not true in every case, but it is in many cases.

ERAC IS a boys' club, but the aforementioned is also a factor.

I've finally done it...I quit today!!! No two weeks notice (they let you go anyway). I was an assistant manager and decided that today was D day. My manager was leaving for a doctors appt and my city manager was conveniently at the branch... I handed in my keys said "have a nice day, and I am not completely satisfied" My city manager is now running the branch for the remainder of the day. I feel that a load has been lifted from me and that my stress level has decreased by 99%. On to bigger and better...a real job.
