I took to leaving some gas caps not screwed on tightly. This causes the "check engine" light to come on because of the emmissions system. Customers scramble to turn in cars and complain and the branch scrambles to find cars. At least it gets me out of the office.

Last month, a co-worker buddy of mine went on sales calls and took a box of donuts to his ex-girlfriend's father who is a jerk of a State Farm agent. That evening after work, he dropped a digital picture in the mail slot of himself wearing the donuts!! I bet all the cows in that office thought they tasted a bit o' wang!

After 5 years with the company I was let go because 2 Mts told the ARM that they were looking for new jobs. the ARM told me he could not take the hit on 90 day retention so he let me go as "new employees are more important than experienced ones"

Well I got a mew job on the way home in the car with my city manager! One phone call and I doubled my pay and cut my hours and stress level. But these posts of stunts make me smile.

It is a shame to see the admin taking a pro E stance.

My husband is going to make sure E pays$$$$$$$$$$ for this so far 3 BMs have fallen at his hand. It makes him happy and that is what is important.

Remember E has no loyalty to you so why have any to them.

BTW the upper deck made me laugh all day!!

Here are some immature but gratifying stunts I did: About 2 months before I had to move, (military spouse) I showed up about half hour to 45 minutes late almost every day. I didn't show up on a Saturday. I used my personal days and burned through my vacation days. Sometimes after eating mexican food for lunch, I would fart in the cars just before giving them to the customers (really effective in very hot weather because then the customers had to roll down their windows!) I put an opened can of tuna fish in my branch managers office desk. I put non-smoking customers in unprepped smoked filled cars. I quit cash-qualifying customers altogether because they werent worth my effort. I quit collecting the fuel fee, which led to fireworks when they returned the cars to find out they "owed money".
I "accidentally soaked" the bitchy area HR rep lady while prepping a car (I could see right through that wet blouse!)
At an ERAC luncheon, I told a couple of State Farm Adjusters in an insulting manner that their client's concerns really didn't matter because they were "too pushy".
And before I left, I threw away all of the reservations for customers with specific requests (vans, cadillacs, trucks ect) and then mis-filed all the rest.
On my last day I took a few calls and answered as the BM (he was playing golf yet again with the "higher ups") quoting dirt cheap rates on everything for reservations but never filled anything out. I laughed out loud in a customers face and wished him good luck when he "demanded a new Maxima for his rental because he drove a 1987 Maxima" (when his insurance ALLSTATE would only pay $18.50 a day). I chitted out a two hour lunch to the tune of $66.00 under sales calls. My very last customer called at around 2 minutes before closing (see my other post on this one) but I never picked her up.
So you see you can have just a little fun before you leave. Good Luck to those who have left and are trying to leave-IF YOU PUT UP WITH ERAC, YOU WILL CERTAINLY SUCCEED IN ANYTHING YOU DO AFTER ERAC
Before leaving ERAC I decided to have some fun myself, I had the highest percentage of DW in my branch and i just stopped selling it and further more the people that wanted it i convinced not to get it, along with ruining DW sales for the other MT's that were so brainwashed they really thought they were going to make it. I never did any call backs but marked them as being done with false information. I had the NO mentality and blamed my BM for it (who by the way deserved it for making me wash a car in the rain). I convinced people NOT to pay for an upgrade and told them that we just didnt have a compact so why pay for a bigger car when you can get it for free. I bad mouthed my branch to any customer that would listen and told them to go to Avis which was down the street. I tried to do as much damage as i could that they couldnt sue me for. By the time that i left my DW went from 57% to 3%. Not to mention that we had a staff meeting one night after work and i told the entire meeting how i thought this company was a crock of shit and that my BM was just fat piece of shit and deserved to rot in hell. The next day i was taken to lunch by my BM to discuss my negative attitude (and hatred) for the company, I quit at lunch (i couldnt have planned it any better!). Fuck you enterprise!

Call in & set up 'fake' reservations, especially during the holidays. Reserve vans over Valentine's Day. Ask for a delivery or pickup to a fake address, or to the address of a competitor. Or a restaurant or nightclub.

If I didn't think I'd get caught, during cold weather it'd be fun to spray hot water on the windshields.

Call up and say you had a reservation and ask where the car is.
