What are some good companies to work for that are all around us that like former ERAC employees? Good hours, pay, and benefits. What's your experience with this/these companies? __________________ Offer me a new job! Enterprise isn't the best Co. but it's not as bad as some people say And yeah, pay sux

I have been working for the company for a year now. I have been promoted numerous times and I give the job 110% everyday even though I don't really enjoy it (It sucks, but I make the best of it). I have a fantastic resume, but limited time to job hunt. I am careful not to post my resume online so that I do not alert admin. I am looking for suggestions of good companies to work for Post-Enterprise.

Pharmaceutical (I probably spelled that wrong) companies are always looking for ERAC people. __________________ ''Perfection is immortal. Imperfection is mortal. We immortals don't want company.''

I would be inclined to think that having ERAC on your resume would almost be a kiss of death somehow ... Assuming that somehow your interviewer knew about ERAC. (face it.. everyone knows somoene who worked there...) its either damned if you do or dont. If you say "oh, I gave it my all and increased numbers at my branch by x percent" the person might be inclined to think "hmm. this person was really into it.... I better not take the chance on him in case he picked up all sorts of shady business ethics... if you say "I hated it because it sucked" then you just look bad for talking bad about your last employer.

If Enterprise is not such a bad company you would not be looking for another job or asking advise on which companies to apply for!! |

get the experience and then move on. Other companies love ERAC employees and they generally have a good time getting in the door. I am a pharmaceutical rep that gets paid 3 times what I was while at ERAC. I got my experience and then left. Take this time, and I hate to sound too cliche, and make the most out of it. Don't just complain, bitch, and moan about it. Work your ass off and if you want to leave, you'll have a pretty good shot at getting a really good job.

Insurance is a rough business too, but they like ERACers as well since you do gain knowledge about the industry and know how to sell, sometimes unehtically yes, but you do learn your sales style at ERAC. Depending on where you live, Country Insurance and Financial Services loves former ERACers. They are big in Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Illinois. Pay starts around 40k, they pay your schooling to get licensed while you are on the payroll and the production umbers are not too demanding. the hours are EASY compared to ERAC as you really make your own shcedule. Just a suggestion!

I work at ERAC as an assitant manager. I have been there less than three years and I am making 60k/year. I work at an airport, so I work 4 days per week. I don't know many other companies where you double your salary withing 3 years. I think most of you bitch and moan because you don't have the skills or patience to deal with the stresses of the job. I am well respected, I don't go door to door pedaling insurance or medical supplies, and I have a great time at work. My manager has been with E for a shade under 5 years, and is making 90k. I drive a brand new Audi A4, not some Ford Taurus or Toyota Camry that you Pharm reps drive. Have fun kissing Dr. Kevorkians ass while bashing E because you could not handle it.

your pay structure is above most lets get that straight. also you are not really feeling the weekend shadesters and bullshit arms res's where you pick them up. employees bitching because we work them to the bone. you are in a completely different scene at the airport. most branch's and most areas it sucks to work at. i have been with the company for 3 years and the job has gotten progressively worse and i am a manager making 57k and i am performing. the job is good for a short term and that short term is i am seeing is 3 to 4 years max. for most it is 1 to 2. imagine making close to 60k, you act as your own boss and you can't enjoy anything because you are constantly working. getting old quick. there is more to life then erac and i have come to that realization. i remember when i could come home kick my feet up and relax. have not done that in 3 years. i can not believe all of this stuff erac keeps jamming down your throat month after month.
