There are a lot of couples (just dating to married for years) in the company. Some work in the same area; others work in different groups. It's not "encouraged".. but it's not really "discouraged" either. If you're at the same branch though, they'll probably split you up real quick.

The policy book has a "no fraternization" clause. But the folks who wrote the policy book don't go to area happy hours. :-)

Here's a great example. There was a guy from 24DD named Paul who was an area manager. Under him were these employees Chris and his fiancee. Long story short, Paul got Chris's fiancee to cheat on him and is now married and has a kid. So, bang whoever you damn please because obviously upper management doesn't care who you stick it in.

I remember 1 instance where this pig actually "drained" a guy right in the mens bathroom at a company regional Happy Hour. It was awesome.

As long as you don't date outside your level they are normally very cool. It is a little easier to date at ERAC since you and your crush probably don't work at the same branch you probably don't see him or her everyday. But you get transferred around so much you will probably work with them at one time or another or they may be your new boss (vice versa). I don't swim in the company pool just as a personal work guideline.

Oh if we could only use full names on here, but the crap that went on in 24VV was like a soap opera. ARMS dating managers to MT’s, even a certain RRM who is no longer with Enterprise had a few pens dipped in her company ink, till she was actually fired for harassment. If you are from the area you know what I am talking about.

"Ethical reasons" I believe is the official reason they canned Ms. T. "Horizontal". Her ink well spread across a decade and several regions; you can ask almost any manager that worked in GP24 in the last ten years. I heard that it was one of her ARMS that finally blew the whistle on her.

She was a dirty little oompa loompa, it sickened me to have to see her in admin. I was so happy to hear she was gone, and really happy to see SA take her place.

Hey buddy, that's understandable. I suggest that you be the clown around her. Make her laugh and comfortable around you, so that you'll stand out above the other guys. Just be careful of crapping where you eat, since if you screw up once, then work will get very awkward for you.

If you're planning on leaving soon, make sure to ask her for her home phone number on or before your last day.
