Default What made you want to leave

I meet my end at Enterprise when I was told that a two month MT was not allowed to take time off to take care of her sick kids. Her 7,5, and 4 year old kids all got chicken pox within a few days of each other.
I was told by my RVP that her job was more "time sensitive" then her husband's could ever be. Her husband is in the Army and was out in the field training for deployment to Iraq.
Hmmmm...working at Enterprise or training to defend out country's freedom. After that I could no longer even look at my office without realizing how dumb my job was, and how it meant nothing in the big picture of life. So I told her to take the time, signed off on her unpaid time off, and then emailed my letter of resignation to my RVP and ARM. Best thing I ever did!!

the fact I worked in retail
pay
upper mgt lies
stupid customers
long grueling hours
Saturdays
ruining every white shirt I had
hating to tell people what I did
managers
morons "bleeding green" that really thought selling your soul for a pipe dream was worth it
job searching and realizing I can double my income and work 20 hrs less a week

pretty much sums it free from green.

you forgot a few though.....

washing cars in suits
playcating scum customers/accounts
being a taxi
being forced to lie because of overbooking or limited staffing
zero work life balance

most of all - being engulfed in a cult like atmosphere!!!!!!

renting cars shoudl not consume you or should sum up your professional life.........

That is not true. That story is false. Nice try pinning ERAC against the US Military.

Actually it is true. I was a branch manager in Colorado. My home town has a huge Amy base, three Air Force bases, and a military academy. My RVP hated the military unless they were giving him money.

Yeah right. I am a RRM and we love our employees and the military. Get over yourself.

ERAC does love their employees. It's too bad you couldn't figure out how to rent cars, manage people, or run a successful business. How is Taco Bell? We know that is where you currently work. That is all you are capable of doing.
