As for being happy that you have left ERAC, I was totally sincere. Anyone who gets his/her life back by leaving ERAC deserves a pat on the back. The question about how many times you were going to post that was indeed a smart-ass question, but I didn't attack you or accuse you of collecting unemployment or make any stabs at your culture or heritage. I was just giving you a hard time and you had to go and get personal about it.

Then I accept the fact that you were sincere and your admittance that you did make a smart-ass comment. I do admit that the attacks at your culture was wrong. It was indeed a very sad story of what the US did to your people. I apologize for the ethnic references.

I just had an ERAC flashback. Everyone in my group used to say "sounds good" at the end of every phone conversation.

The people that I supervise at my new job are sooo SOFT. A bunch of pampered office workers who don't realized how much worse things are at other jobs.

Get this, tomorrow we get to wear casual clothing (including jeans) because it SNOWED today.

Now anyone who knows anything about Chicago knows that 4-6 inches of snow in one day during the winter is no big deal. At ERAC we used to show up early to dig out and defrost cars in our suits that get buried during big blizzards where we'd get over a foot of snow.

This office where I'm a manager at now gets a different restaurant to cater lunch every day, has a workout center and has a business casual dress code everyday. Yet I hear the reps complaining about the job, which for them pays the same as an ERAC MT but with only 40 hours, plus this call center is ALL incoming calls (selling and quoting insurance) with the exception of following up on people who already called you. i'm sure many on here may have done outbound calls and knows ho brutal it is getting hung up on and cursed out. These reps don't have to do that.

After ERAC this new job is like a vacation cuz all I have to do is make sure they do their job.

Sounds like a kick ass job. Catered lunch? I bet it's not pizza, like at ERAC.

It is pretty sweet. I now know what it's like to work at a job that cares about it's employees.

To answer your question about the food: We have all kinds of different restaurants cater. We do have Pizza occasionally but REMEMBER I am in Chicago so we actually have good pizza. Nothing beats a real Chicago Deep Dish, not that crap Pizza Hut tried to make. I'm talking about Giordano's, Gino's East and Pizzaria Uno.
