If it is alright with everyone, i would like to share with all of you my story at ERAC. I worked for this company for about 5 years. At the end of my 5 years, I realized that I was excellent in washing rigs and renting cars. By the end of my career at ERAC, I think I earned a google points selling DW which led me to multiple elite dinners. 5 years and my contribution to society was renting rigs. The End.

Default 'You work for a car rental agency' is a small minded loser

I used to work for Enterprise in GP62. I hated the job towards the end as I knew I was basically getting bled dry. However, the 'you work for a car rental agency' idiot even annoyed me.

To the 'you work for a car rental agency' loser.

You may not have noticed, because it is so subtle, that people come on here because they recognise the joke of the 'green dream' they got sold. True, a lot of people in the company do make six figures etc. However, thousands more don't and never will since the company is in something of a stagnation period and there are now no new jobs to grow into. We are the ones who realized this and got out!

People leave college and get the first job they can. They gain experience and realize that they are some of the more employable individuals in their generation. True, not everyone at Enterprise went to Princeton or Yale, but many went to very good schools and gradated with excellent degrees and high GPA's (myself included).

I left Enterprise and have never looked back. I would put what I do now up against the 'you work for a car rental agency' losers career any day of the week.

Enterprise is a difficult experience, and difficult to get through. You get no money, work a useless job with no real advancement opportunities and perhaps worst of all losers like our unregistered friend think they can lord it over you because 'you work for a car rental agency'.

However, when you finally get out;

a) No work situation will phaze you
b) You have learned a significant body of knowledge about running a business
c) You will never be nervous about approaching anybody on any subject
d) You will find something you like doing and become very successful at it, knowing everyday how it feels to hate your job and how you don't anymore

The cream does, and will continue to rise. These individuals will just rise out of that company into something much much better. Being an Enterprise manager really suits some people. More power to them, but generally Enterprise hires people whose abilities far outshine the company. The hiring process is tough for a reason. The very best people join and even if the company only gets to keep them for a couple of years, they are still ahead on the deal.

Keep on informing those who need to know that there is life after ERAC, and the future is bright, not a cheap green.

Oh, and 'rental car agency loser' its spelled 'corpAration'.

I'm sorry, CORPORATION! Seriously, that had me rolling! I mean, if you're going to make a point and try to jolt someone at the end for misspelling a word.....make sure you spell the word right. Now your credibility is shot

True, I take responsibility for that one. lol

Hopefully it doesn't reflect too badly on my other comments.

Life is fun, at least it should be, if you can't laugh at yourself you don't stand a chance.

God help me I don't spell anything wrong, because obviously one of the main reasons ERAC originally hired all of you was for your grammatical aptitude. I truly hope that y'all are happy in what ever superfantastic opportunites you have found. ERAC does take a lot out of a person. I just wish that those who actually got it, understand the philosophies behind our brand...would ultimately be bigger people in the "real world".

But now the whinging, crying...ohh boo whoo...has kind of taken over. Somebody please, anybody tell me something amazing they have done with the skillz they learned at ERAC...anyone?

what "skillz"???

I didnt learn anything during my time there. I have a great job now but its not because of ERAC (I left it off my RESUME).

I laugh when I hear people say erac taught them a work ethic...no it didnt...you already had it...they just used you thats all!
