Anyone think that the company is geared towards men?

The company is definitely still a boys club. Very white male dominated. That being said, if you are a productive woman, you have a very good chance of being promoted. If there is one thing, ERAC fears the most, it is discrimination lawsuits of any kind. They are private company and will always protect themselves. The thing is, when the company started to establish its roots in different regions, the "industry" as a whole was geared towards men. The Automotive industry is geared towards men, no different. Over time, depending on the region, city, group if there are no women in prominent positions, expect one to be there soon. So for you women who are in one of those regions, now is the time to "step it up". My advice would be to let them lose out another good employee, because they will try to screw you in more ways than one.

where's the original poster? coming on here and saying she got fired, implying that it was discrimination and yet can't even answer one question on why she was fired. Being fired for cause is something different than being fired for discrimination. So to the original poster i say this, fess up, take some responsibility and quite playing the discrimination card
