Yeah but you got to work for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

We don't allow impersonation here and Enterprise's attorneys get all bent out of shape over it.

Yeah, I was 27 when I came to my senses. I was able to adapt to a more professional and legitimate corporate culture. Obviously my personal financial management skills took a huge hit during my time at ERAC because of the lack of resources so it was hard to manage the substantial pay increase that I got when I began my new career. I am 29 now and am content with where I am now.

I love it how some people just can't stand that somebody retired with Enterprise and is now "enjoying his millions"... leave the guy alone, just because he's got a ton of money and you don't, there's no need to get spiteful and jealous like a bunch of 10 year olds.

I don't know him, and I don't care. At least he got something out of the stress and burden of working there for 20 years.

You all complain about how much you're overworked (and you are), but don't forget that the guys who are now gm's, rvp's and above, all started in the gutter just like you, and had to take the same crap and abuse that you complain about, yet when they come here they're attacked just because they're now in a higher position and making good money.

Ever wonder why some of your bosses have bad attitudes? Its probably from years of making no money, getting yelled at by customers and higher ups, hearing mt's and assistants whine about their schedules and working 80 hour weeks. When they finally make it to the top, they're so fucking burned out and apathetic, that they couldn't give two shits if you're having a good day or not. Really, try thinking about it from the other side's perspective.

Why? I pointed out that ERAC employees are overworked, underpaid and take crap from everyone... how would that make me a good recruiter? You need to put a little more thought into your insults.

Left at 26 after about a year.

I'm glad I didn't stick around to get promoted, from what I've heard the ABM is the worst gig in the company. Before I left I confided to an assistant in my area what I'd be making at my new job (a nice raise from MT pay, but not ridiculous money) and he told me I'd be making more than any assistant in the region.

What's funny is most people don't realize that you did make millions. Were you a GM that opened a group at the full 15%? But I do know that the quality of life at ERAC, even for GMs, isn't what it should be for ALL ERAC employees.

My admin level 3 was forced out after 17 years but there was never help in looking or suggestion to look for a different job or acknowledgement of the 60 to 80 hour weeks put in to get the job done.

Marketing Pyramid Scheme hmm lets see.

GM on top 1 to 3M
a few RVPs here 750K
more Area Managers 325K
More Branch Managers 65 to 100K
ABMs 45K
MTs 25K

look at that, about 6 layers and the peak makes how much more

please note, numbers are just best guesses based on specific instances of knowledge
