My ARM said if the customer complaint makes it to him becuase someone in the branch failed to make it right he would give the customer 50%-75% off of the total renal.Plus give the customer a free rental whenever they needed one on their next trip.

So the point it, fix it at the branch level. Do not let it go to your ARM or above. Because then you will pay dearly for it.

So my dear customer. Ask for everything, if you cant get it.Ask to speak with the Area Rental Manager.

I am renting a car at the LA airport on Nov 2 as we're taking a cruise out the next day for our honeymoon and returning the car at the cruise port. After paying for entire wedding any discount will help. I already have a reservation using the Entertainment book (10% off), but if an employee would be willing to help us out we'd be forever greatful. jenfrs@hotmail.com please email me with any helpful hints/tips.

Thank you!!

Jennifer,

If you or your husband have no shame you can certainly complain that you were not satisfied and you can most likely get a couple of days written off. But your wedding cost thousands I am sure so what's a few bucks on a rental car? Live a little and dont try so hard to pinch pennies. Try looking in the L.A. thread for some help.

The best way is to tell them you're an adjuster. Not only will they kiss your ass as if your last name is Taylor but they will also give you a killer discount.

As for being an asshole to employees- give them as much shit as you can ditch. Trust me you will be doing them a favor. The more they hate their job and the more humiliated they become by it the quicker they will quit.

I used to do that until I found a better way. Now, I just get mines at the END of the rental. I work off a minimum of 2 days sometimes 3-4 days on a rental. It is easy to find a new MT since the turnover is so high I have never seen the same person twice. I actually come off very nice to employees in the beginning, then come on as an evil truncheon at the end. It's so much fun!
