Sounds like it's the same all over the UK then? Definately is in u2, can't believe how many people are leaving. I'm gonna be one of those people when i get another job. By getting promoted you are tying yourself into years of pain and suffering. Payback commission????? - what the fuck is that all about. I've not heard of any other business that does this to it's employees. And when you leave??? you owe commission? - then you pay it back out of your basic. That's how they think they can keep people locked into their jobs. NOT ME.

Hang on! You have to pay back your pay back from your basic in U2? Surely some mistake. We do not have to do that in U6, and it porbably breaches employment laws. Remember when Andy Taylor told the yanks to put some money aside for the future because they were all getting paid so much (in orlando) - it seems no one is taking home more than their basic in the Uk. Result - people look at the hours they do, how much work we all do, look at an 18K paycheque (less tax) - further result - how many experienced employees are erac set to lose? Also, if trainees see their managers and assistants leaving, some of them may soon follow. Having said that, I am under no illusions that ERAC will replace the leavers in about 5 minutes. They won`t be as experienced, they wont be the same standard, but replaced we will beMost of those that leave will then be in a higher paid job, with less hours, and free to bitch on here. Strange way to runa company, but it seems to work

that's only when you leave. Otherwise it just keeps tallying up and up. I know some managers that have thousands of pounds worth of commission owing and if they leave the company, that's their whole final months pay check gone.
| |||
Cant be right. Otherwise why would you bother working your notice - people would just quit on the first of the month and be dopne with it. ERAC cannot deduct it from your basic pay - they would get their arses sued off them!

if i'm talking bollocks how come an assistant manager left two months ago and ended up with £150 in his bank account. BECAUSE HE OWED COMMISSION BACK TO THE COMPANY!!!!!THAT'S WHY. My branch manager is shitting himself cus he's wants to leave but has too much payback commission built up. Sounds to me "i'm too chicken to register" guest that you have your head up the arse of the top managers who are feeding you a whole lot of bull shit.
