Lets just say that I work away from Sales, long hours (I am contracted to work 36 hours a week), get a lunch break every day, and we can drink at lunch times.

Sorry no more jobs.

What does make me laugh though, is that my current Senior Management board are always asking me where I get my energy and drive from.

I then explain it is because I was trained well, but then not looked after at all by Enterprise.
They spend loads of money giving great training and then do fuck all about it afterwards.

BK is still a twat.
Long live mercedes deals !!!!!!!!!

What training are you talking about?
Is that cleaning cars, or sucking up to your BM, AM or even CM.

Met some good friends at ERAC. That was the only good thing. The other extremely valuable lesson I learned was how not to manage a team of people by Brendan Keane. I fully believe that you admin could start a compleatly new discussion board devoted to that waste of space. It would be full with messages from staff past and present. Does anyone actually think he is any good? I think most people agree he is just a useless Tosser. If you read this Keano can you please tell us all why you stay knowing no one likes you? If you left everyone would throw you a party, the likes no one has ever seen.

If you think the guy is worth a completely new discussion board, start off with a completely new thread about him...

Whoever it was that worked in SC I sympathise with you. I used to work for ERAC but after many years of complete drivell being talked and gormless idiots running areas (you know who you are, J "how you doing brother" D), it gets to the point when you have to run to the hills running!

Never knew this site existed until now and wish I had as it could have been the therapy many have needed in SC over the years. With experienced and generally good people leaving SC and being replaced by.........muppets, its good to see that ERAC is heading to a new dawn.....not.

Long hours, measley pay (oh and by the way Mr GM of Scotland, £14600 is not the average graduate wage....check areas such as the financial institutions before making such a mis informed statement) and complete lack of appreciation for work seems to be the pre-requisite job spec for joining your band of merry green men/women.

Add to that the persons in the Ivory Tower that is head office who have no operational experience, certain persons I would suggest in oh I dont know.....business developement/marketing/account management who seem to think that Edinburgh City Council and their "you will take it like a sweety" attitude is okay and their demands are perfectly reasonable. Come and work at a branch and see what its like before opening ones mouth and engaging prior to the thought process?

I also used to just love the "wannabe" americans. Come on guys you know them, the Brits who think they are Yanks? They always raised a chuckle....bless.

Had I known now what I didnt then, its safe to say that I would have spun the corporate web that little bit better. It pays to bleed green, say yes when you truley dont believe whats being said, sell ridiculous insurance scams(oops sorry insurance coverage) do whatever they say to get promoted. Do not say no, question what they say or even have a single rational thought process enter your head because they will wear you down in so many ways such as "come to Jesus speeches", useless branches and my personal favourite "are you commited to the company?" speeches.Hmm let me ponder that last one, YES YOU USELESS EXCUSE FOR AN INDIVIDUAL THATS WHY I STAY TILL LATE AT NIGHT, PUT UP WITH MENTAL CUSTOMERS AND NOD MY HEAD TO YOUR WITLESS BANTER YOU SELF CENTRED TOSSER!!!

I totally agree with the person who made that call. I am still working after 4 years in this shit hole. Gone are the days of the gangster, mcurdy, flannighan, malone, jacko, elgin and neill to name but a few.
Its full of boring, gormless witless drones at management level who have no management accumen at all and have area managers such as cooksey and doyle to put up with now. That pair are about the most boring set of wankers I have ever come across. Its dark days and I have every intention of getting out of a crumbling wreck of a company.

tom pratsky has been "promoted" (pay cut & longer hours !?!) to branch manager of the new basildon office. ian blackmore was a legend and mark mckew knew the score although i never worked in his office. All three have been f*cked by brendan keane during his reign as area manager only tom hasn't realised it yet. Opening a new branch is the start of a slipperly slope into poor money with massivly increased hours due to lack of staff.

p.s. "call me sparky" signed off over the printer to the whole group on his last day with his new moniker - i ripped it off the printer. (back in the days of the dot matrix!) so i know who you are!

Tom Pratsky is a good lad, could not believe he came back, expecially as I was there when he told BK that he would never come back after his travels. However recently spoke to him, he know how to take ERAC for a ride, and play BK. Hope he does well or realises that he can use his skills in a better organisation. I think he realises this and is just sorting his finances out before fucking off. Blackmore and Mark were good lads and I am glad I waspart of the same era, I knew them well and still talk to them, we made a good bit of money and then fucked off.

Was always good to see Enterprise has to pay Blackmore hush money for the way they treated him. He did well off the back of Neil Leyland and HR's stupidity.

I wonder how the other decent lads are doing, Lenny "sausage" Roles, Justin Widgodski, Olly Jackson (proper GEASER), Paul Walker, Paul Garner. There were also some good lads at Chelmsford when I was at erac.
