Whilst I acknowledge that there is a lot of driving with minimal breaks (if any) involved, I managed to work there for a number of years without damaging a car.

Damage a car, pay the £300. If you don't want to pay the fine, then don't damage cars. It really is that simple.

If you don't like the long hours and lack of breaks, and are potentially 'of a certain age' then quit ERAC. I hear B&Q are hiring at the moment....

You really are blinkered aren't you?

One of the reasons I left ERAC was because I was fed up of putting drivers on the road for close to 10 hours a day without breaks - in some cases more (and don't say it doesn't happen - try working in some of the outer London branches).

I'm only suprised there weren't more accidents on the road.
