tell them the only reason you damaged their cars was because you have been working 60+ hour weeks and you fell asleep at the wheel as you have not been permitted a lunch break or any breaks throughout the day which contravenes EU legisliation. They'll soon back off.

Surely if you worked at ERAC, would realise that some of the drivers are 'of a certain age'. Additionally you would understand that they are on the road for stupid lengths of time and exposed to more situations where accidents may occur than the average person. Indeed because of these situations and the length of time on the road, exhaustion increases leading to a disproportionate increase in the likelihood of them having an accident and so on...

Well done on your company car. Sell another photocopier and you might get a better one.
