Default Drivers

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. Are there any current ERAC drivers on here? I used to be in the U1 area as a driver, but luckily escaped to a brighter future. Was it just me, or do drivers still get treated like shit by Area and City Managers? In all my time in the company, i never had a problem with any of the office staff. They always treated me with respect and friendship. Yet when the big boys came down with their stupid mongrammed cufflinks, and cabage shaped heads, these so called leaders wouldn't of pissed on us even if we were on fire. Is it still the same??

Always respect your drivers they are the heartbeat of any successful operation without good drivers then rental branches would be down the pan. However there are some drivers who leave a lot to be desired and could do with growing a few brain cells.....

Lets face it the job is not rocket science 1. Clean the car fill it full of fuel 2.check it in and out for damage and 3.drive around all day listening to music most people would give their right arm for such a fantastic position now go and wash some motors and stop wasting time on this silly internet site

hey, looks like I have upset someone huh? First off, I worked at Romford. Secodly, to the green person who told me to stop coming on silly internet sites like this one, you maybe should go back and read what I wrote first off. I don't work for Enterprise anymore you idiot, but I still have friends there, and I just asked the question. Does that upset you or something???? On this site we are allowed to voice our opinions, and generally see how other people are feeling. Is this is such a 'silly' site, why do so many people come on here? Obviously people feel strong enough to say what they are feeling. Its called free speech my friend. So do you have your initials on your shirt??? or a cabbage shaped head??? come on my friend, be a man and say who you are. If you are one of them, and I can imagine which one you are, I am hoping to come to the Christmas event this year, as I here there is going to be a raffle to see who gets to go home with someones wife.

I was an Area Manager and always looked after my drivers well - at least the ones that added value to the business and did their jobs in a competent manner. I recognised the value a good car prep could bring to my branches. I would shake their hands every time I met them, make sure they had all the equipment needed to do their jobs well, and always invited them to all area nights out.

If you were a driver in my area that regularly turned up late, had a piss poor attitude, looking like crap every day and failed to meet my expectations for car cleanliness then yes, I would not give you the time of day - this would be the case in any business anywhere in the world.

If you were a good one then it's a shame ERAC lost you...but then ERAC lost me because they failed to realise what I could provide to the business and treat me accordingly - it's not just the car preps mate.
